No, there are morons in every fan base. Their own fans are laughing at the OP in that post.

Their fans still suck. Maybe not as much as Texas fans, but they suck.

Georgia bragging of playing best teams in nation? Georgia has been playing in the SEC East and avoiding the best teams in the nation.

All of my friends and other OU fans I talk to aren't regretting this at all. In fact, OU fans have been begging for years to get out of the dumpster fire that is the Big 12. Are we going to win fewer games? Yep. Will the competition be tougher? Damn right, but it's the hard/tough that make you better. Iron sharpens iron and the ONLY way OU was going to be able to win CFP games was to get bigger, meaner, and tougher. End of story. I cannot wait to see the teams coming to Norman and am looking forward to all of the great destinations the SEC has to offer. OU had a rough year last year, but let's not bury the Sooners just yet.

Aggie said, They, (OU), will not have easy teams to beat up each year anymore?

But OU will get to regularly beat up on Aggie again.

You kind of were their prisoner while in the Big 12. That’s the perception. My understanding when we went to the SEC, Slive wanted OU to go with us but you did not. Now you are with Texas.

Anyway, I think the move will let you break free from Texas, similar to your Big 8 days which so happen align with the best years of your history.

Not saying I disagree with you, I don’t enjoy most sooner message boards. But what is your 1-2 over the past 20 years?

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Georgia
4. Clemson
5. Florida

Let's just say that over the past 20 years, if you have multiple National Championships, you're a better program than Oklahoma who has zero.

I've heard from Oklahoma fans time and time again that you're a blue blood and the only thing that matters is National Championships. Well. All those programs have multiple National Championships, so undoubtedly they are better programs than OU. Much less Ohio State, Florida State, USC, Auburn and tu that all have one in the past 20 years compared to Oklahoma's zero.

I don't care about the article from some random loser that is insecure about OU's lack of National Titles. Would you trade your trophy case over the past 20 years with LSU's? If you wouldn't, you're an idiot.

Funny you say that.

Texas and Nebraska have had similar trajectories since last winning their national championships.

#1 They have Natty's, just not in the last decade
#2 They have the historical #1 spot in their region

To me a Blue Blood basic question is are you #1 in your region?

USA = Notre Dame (only truly national brand)
B1G = Ohio State
Big 8 + SWC = Oklahoma (Nebraska #2, Utx #3, and Arkansas #4)
South = Alabama
West = Southern California

I mean, they can hang a "blue blood" banner in their practice facility if they want to, but they think of themselves as the second or third best program in all of college football in the past 20 years with ZERO National Titles in that time frame.

Would any program in the country prefer OU's past 20 years over LSU's? It's just laughable how they cling to a 247 article.

I think what the fans of Texas and Oklahoma are starting to realize is, that getting to games with SEC teams in the past on a national stage and doing somewhat well against them has been easier.
Now you're in that meat grind with them on a week to week basis and you can't do "somewhat " well and get on that national stage. Texas and Oklahoma are more likely to fade away like Nebraska being in the SEC than any other conference they could have joined. That if anything scares them. It's just a different level of football here,we all can explain why to them,they won't understand until they experience it.

The smart fans know that college football will be NFL jr. within the next 10 years. They had to jump on the SEC train or be left behind.

SMU fan asked, "In what world is OU's trophy case better than Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Florida over past 20 years.

Does SMU have a trophy case?

OU fans are actually pretty good people. They’ll be annoying now that they’re here, but they have a great program and culture. They’ll figure it out soon enough, whether its with their current coach or another.

OU has a bunch of in conference rent a wins every year so they can stack up CC’s and wins. Wont be the same anymore for them
