Besides Kentucky? Maybe Mizzou, maybe Miss St (which won’t continue if KT misses more games)?

I would think UF is exceeding, but absolutely no doubt UK is.

Florida and Auburn are
South Carolina can also make a case
aTm, Texas seem to be below expectations, and LSU could make a case in that side as well

I would say Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and LSU all look good under first year head coaches.

Arkansas has won more SEC games than anyone predicted for this season.

Kentucky is probably the most obvious answer. Florida would probably be up there with them. Miss St is definitely in there. Shame Taylor was injured. Misery would probably get a mention too.

I’m not knocking LSU, and I also don’t think reasonable LSU fans expected a championship year 1
However, I’d have to say that losing to Ole Miss and Kentucky qualifies as “not meeting expectations” for most LSU folks…

They are a totally different team with Taylor AND Bothwell out.

Old Auburn used to always be good when they were expected to suck, maybe they are back,

I forgot about Bothwell. Taylor is the straw that stirs the drink though. If they can get Taylor back and he is effective then Miss St may still have a great year.

Mizzu if Florida can go 5-4 in SEC games this season.

Florida has the highest highs and lowest lows, quite the year 1.

Im sure they will both somehow heal up right before the Auburn game and give our guys absolute hell all day.
We haven't played them in a few years (if we did it don't remember...I have blocked out a lot of the past 5 years of AU football), but they always seem to play us hard going back to the western division days of tSEC.

On the other side of the question: Which team has fallen the shortest of their preseason expectations?
I have to think A&M, UTx and OU are the best answer to that one.

Yeah that has the potential to be a struggle bus game if both players come back and are healthy enough to be effective.

Tennessee has done better than most expected.
