Florida has the highest highs and lowest lows, quite the year 1.

Sumrall is the right guy at the wrong place. Florida is just not a "taskmaster" kind of school. Not the culture that attracts talent there.

Sumrall would be great at an Oklahoma. Better yet at A&M. He won't last at FLA.

Sumrall at Auburn would be outstanding.

Considering we heard 4-8 or 5-7 at the start of the season. We are prob. Kentucky as well.

Auburn only exceeded expectation this weekend I think. We finally looked like a decent team.

We haven't looked very good in the other games.

Arky got an SEC win. That seems like more than expected.

If he could win at those other schools, why would he not last at Florida?

Serious question, seems like a weird stance.

At this point, halfway through the season:

Kentucky looks good, as well as FL.
I don't think a lot of people gave Ole Miss a chance after Kiffen left and Golden took the reins. But they keep winning
Auburn shocked everyone yesterday

I think is still to early to see how this is going to shake out.
Kats still have Florida.
Florida still has UK and Georgia
Ole Miss still has Geogia
Auburn has a meatgrinder of a schedule with 3 of the next 6 game against ranked team, LSU, Ole Miss and Bama

Spurrier and Meyer weren’t “taskmasters”?

If some told me we would beat Texas and Ole Miss and Auburn preseason I would have laughed

aTm, Texas seem to be below expectations, and LSU could make a case in that side as well

We should have beaten Kentucky, but I have a hard time being disappointed.

The Vols were supposed to be a 7-5 team this year with a D that needs a couple years and no QB.

Kentucky and Ole Miss.

UK I called it on Steiner way back but OM is winning with a first year HC that many ridiculed around the SEC.

Anyone who thought Ole Miss was going to immediately fall off a cliff was delusional. Chambliss and Lacy are good enough to carry them to a good season, although Lacy seems to be getting injured a lot or is learning about Frank Wilson's rotation woes.

A case could probably be made that Ole Miss loses to both Louisville and LSU with a lesser quarterback.
