The only thing that has come out today that might cause any problems IMO is the allegation of grade changes. I suspect that happens at many schools and it wouldn't shock me if it happened at AU. Ultimately though, nothing will likely come of this and this story will be old news by next week.

So is this all of that stupid crap Finebaum was alluding to when he kept saying there was a chance stuff could hit the fan? Back when he was talking about the Jovon Robinson stuff? If so, it seems sort of weak.

Dude.... After 2010, it's hard to get me nervous about someone making claims against Auburn. These seem mediocre at best.

These threads are getting boring.

Are we concerned about unsubstantiated rumors about grades and money made by a person who is soon about to be a violent convicted felon, peddled by someone who is a mudslinging reporter already known to have falsified other sensationalized news stories (Duke Lacrosse) and perpetuated by a news organization that needs us to be wrong so badly they publish garbage?
Honestly, I am just glad this stuff isn't coming out closer to NSD when it would have an impact. People won't remember this shite and we won't get in trouble. No proof = no violations. It is America and Auburn lives the dream when it comes to cheating not getting caught

ESPN is such a joke. I wouldn't be worried until someone else investigated. Even then, the NCAA is such a joke right now, it's hard to imagine them doing anything.

Not the least bit.

No point in getting nervous about any of this noise. There's no NCAA punishment that would render your athletic teams to anything worse than the crap y'all just experienced in football/basketball and maybe baseball.

Honestly, this whole thing is laughable. Why the hell would any sensible person take what a felon has to say seriously?

How about this:
Auburn is a charter member of the SEC who needs to remain credible to continue our dominance in college football.
Hoping for Auburns demise is detrimental not only to Auburn, but the other 13 SEC schools.
We, as a conference, need Auburn to be strong to increase our strength of schedule. Win or lose.
A strong Auburn is good for the SEC. See LSU's argument to be in the BCSNC in 2007. Without their win against Auburn they don't get in. Period.
We aren't all Updykes. Most knowledgeable fans understand Auburn's value.

This is basically how I feel.
Roostergoo and espn got their hits on their websites, so mission accomplished for them, and there is no recourse for them.

The biggest issue is that is was a big story with Emmert today at NCAA final four and an embarrassment to the NCAA and him personally. They may want to nail you with something to just save face.
