Disappointed more than mad. Players played their hearts out.

Some coaching choices and mistakes were frustrating but not mad.

If not for 2 all time blunders by Mizzou last week we are on a 7 game losing streak vs. P5 teams.

Actually, I guess technically 6 since Houston isn't even P5 lol. One of our other 2 wins since last October we were losing in the second half to San Jose State.

It does sting a little more when you see how hard the guys played and had a chance to win it when most didn't expect it to be much of a ballgame.

Agreed. Our coaching staff is a joke.

Not sure what you're confused about. Most Auburn fans did not think we would win this game. Hell most didn't see us within double digits.

And for good reason. Penn State embarrassed us. We tried to give the game to Mizzou even more so than we did tonight, they just refused to accept the victory. Our offense would have trouble scoring against 11 high school kids. We are just not a good team right now.

Not mad at coaches, but execution by players especially QB was lacking. You can’t mishandle that many exchanges in red zone. Also Coy More had to come back for that ball and secure the catch. Kicker missed an easy FG and I don’t mind going for it on 4th and 10 at 3p when our D had been playing well. I think we are confusing poor execution with coaching,

If that game is played in Death Valley, LSU wins by 17 or more.

You're literally the only "Auburn fan" who isn't, Clesi.

You would be hard pressed to find an Auburn fan predict we would win or even be in the game.

Just watch our play the last few weeks and it becomes clear why. LSU was projecting upwards and playing good football. We have hardly scored in the second half over the last two years.

I wasn’t kidding when I said if you could score anything in second half you win. it’s a freaking terrible situation, coach is a dead man walking, but your kids played their asses off and honestly they outplayed LSU and deserved to win, but like Clint Eastwood says, “Deserve has nothing to do with it.”

These games always come down to one or two weird plays

Agreed. LSU played their worst game by far since the first half of the first game of the season.

Auburn executed the perfect game plan against LSU (props to players and coaching staff). They just came up short.

It sucks being torn in a game whether you want your team to win or not. You want to win but if you do you are hurting yourself long term. In the 4th quarter I was back and forth of pulling for Auburn and then thinking how bad it looks for Harsin if he loses after blowing a 17-0 lead.

17-0 lead. Harsin doesn’t deserve y’all.

It's not just the LSU game but how do you explain this?

"Bryan Harsin’s last 8 games against Power 5 competition in the second half (points scored)

2021 Ole Miss 3
2021 Texas A&M 0
2021 Mississippi State 6
2021 South Carolina 3
2021 Alabama 0
2022 Penn State 6
2022 Missouri 0
2022 LSU 0"

I don't think so. He's gone. You should always pull for your team.

Look on the bright side. One step closer to getting rid of Harsin.

But the more he loses the sooner he may be gone and that may affect who we get as coach and in recruiting.

Auburn has had bad coaching since they fired Tuberville. Cam Newton was an anomaly and made their coaching staff look better than they were.
