Ewers will never start again.

Let's have this conversation after Texas goes 3-and-out on the first 3 possessions against 0U.

Because the conversation is coming back. Not saying who I support, just saying I've been around this too long. The conversation is coming back as soon as our punter becomes vaguely familiar.

. Well, there’s no need to try out Ewers anyway when Manning can just run and take it to the house for 70 yards untouched.

He will be starting the rest of the year. Ewers might as well start prepping for the draft

He will as soon as he's healthy. Sure Manning can throw and run, but as an inexperienced QB he sometimes holds the ball too long processing things. That will work itself out with time, but Ewers is the better option this year for that reason.

What's the prognosis on him? It looked similar to what Nick Bosa had at OSU in 2018 and he basically entered the draft week 7 or 8 of the season when he knew he wasn't gonna be 100% again

What makes you draw this conclusion?

Other than Texas fans, the nation will be watching Tenner vs 0U.

Arch may kill it but nobody will know.
Well sure, bloU vs Tenner is a bigger game and on a broadcast network so they will get most of the eyes. Having said that, Arch starting vs ULM will mean more people watching than would otherwise. I bet our game outdoes other shitty matchups on shitty ESPN sub channels.

Thank god we didn't have to play the world beaters, Notre Dame.

The likes of Colorado State and UTSA clearly provide a much greater challenge.

I'm not so sure it's going to help Ewers to have come back this season, unless he really puts on a show. What I mean is - all he's done is show the NFL that he gets hurt and can't go a full season. 3 for 3.

They're no McNeese State, if that's what your asking

Ya that CBS poll is just so ridiculously dumb. None of those top 3 QB's are more draftable right now than Ward and Ewers.

I wasn’t.

And I didn’t make the initial comment on the subject either.

Ask yourself this way. I am purchasing an NFL team and I can have one QB, regardless of age, eligibility, whatever.

You're lying if you ain't taking Arch.

No, you just did a poor comparison which I corrected for you. I made a joke about ND, you then made a joke about CSU and UTSA (would have been comparable if you made it about Michigan though I see why you didn't want to do that). So i made a joke about McNeese State.
