Problem with Bama is they are signing one of top QB's in class for next year and will Arch want to sit behind him for three years

At Texas the QB room is a lot clearer path to playing time

I haven't followed recruiting since 2009. Would we even know about this kid if his last name wasn't Manning?

Jeebus, if I hear that statline one more time I'm going to be ill.

No one cares. It was two very mediocre defenses with a Texas team desperate to run up the score so that everyone forgets how Arkansas spanked them up and down the field.

He's the #1 recruit for 2023.

Oddly enough, Texas isn't even on his list of schools at 247.

Alabama has the current ranked #4 QB for 2022. Texas has the #10 ranked QB.

Seems like the Gumps are mad he didn't think much of the bama visit. Least nothing has hit the media about it.

Murphy is a project. Sark did hand pick him out, but he needs a lot of QB coaching at this point. He is big and his arm is electric.. TBD if that ever plays..

This is a Texas vs Georgia battle imo..

Arch will be at the Texas vs Oklahoma State game next week in Austin. He already visited Georgia. He still has plans to visit Ole Miss, but I think that is a courtesy at this point.

You can say a lot of bad things about Sark and his past.. but he has always developed QBs.

I think it will be Texas.

All 3 offer more than OM can ever dream of offering. OM really offers nothing in the grand scheme of things
And yet, 3/4 of the Mannings have gone there. And the one that didn’t admitted if Cooper had been playing or if we hadn’t been on probation he would have come to us.

Aggie must be getting scared..

Please show me somewhere on Sark’s resume where his starting QB was a bust..

Yeah it’s not like he’s been to Ole Miss his entire life up to this point or anything

You are arguing like he’s a 2022 kid.

He’s already visited here or there. Who cares? He hasn’t even reached the official visit stage.

So Archie (way back in the day and from MS), Cooper (didn’t play due to injury so no clue how good he would be) and Eli (couldn’t even make it to ATL)
Also, show me where Peyton said that? Nothing but message board BS cause I’ve heard he didn’t want to follow dads footsteps. Please show article of Peyton saying that.
Times have changed. If Arch wants to win titles he isn’t going to OM (I know we aren’t winning them either but not in running here) plus we are a basketball school.

He would crush the NIL at a bigger school cause let’s face it nobody outside of MS cares about OM and they get 55k fans in their HS stadium.

Again if he wants to win and develop its really Bama or TX. I believe Sark will have TX turned around by the time Arch gets there. They will have a top 5 class this year and Arch’s class

He has been quoted as saying that he will make his decision in November or December this year to help out with the 2022 and 2023 recruiting classes.. I may have made that up.. but I think I read that somewhere.

I wouldn’t blame him if he went to Texas.

Those sorority/spirit group girls are freaks.

Went to round up twice.

I have a hard time believing his recruitment won’t be close the vest and decided late.
