sounds familiar toi Elie befor ehe ultimately chose Ole Miss
quote:

“I wanted to play my senior year and play football and enjoy it, so before the process started I knew I had 10 or 12 schools that I was interested in and I told everyone else I wasn’t really interested and I think they appreciated that I wasn’t leading them on. I had my 10 schools and talked to those coaches and made certain visits. I enjoyed the recruiting process and made visits to Texas, Virginia, LSU, Ole Miss and Tulane. For awhile Texas was probably in the lead and in the middle of the recruiting process Coach Cutcliffe got brought in to be the head coach at Ole Miss and that was a big reason why I chose Ole Miss.”

I still think Arch ends up at Ole Miss

He is not even that great. He just has the Manning name.

And yet, 3/4 of the Mannings have gone there. And the one that didn’t admitted if Cooper had been playing or if we hadn’t been on probation he would have come to us.
Arch wants to do what no Manning has ever done- win a title. Means he's going to Georgia or Bama imo.

OM really offers nothing in the grand scheme of things

Eh, I'm sure his goal is likely to be a highly drafted NFL QB. If he plays well in college, he can achieve that at Ole Miss just like he can at Alabama, Texas, or UGA. Lane is also a very good coach developing QBs

One SEC Title, 4 Super Bowls. They played the long game. If I was a great HS QB I would go play for whoever the best QB coach was and let him get me ready for the NFL. I wouldn't care about which college it was.

Also, show me where Peyton said that?

He says something along those lines in the Book of Manning documentary

Why is it that all the Mannings are from New Orleans yet none of them even consider LSU? Don't they hear about it from LSU fans at school? I'm genuinely curious; this isnt a troll question.

How many SEC titles did the Mannings win?

Imagine how many they'd have if they just went to LSU.

Because Archie was a legend at a school that hates LSU. That rivalry was huge when Archie played and that kind of stuff used to matter

Will Kiffin be at Ole Miss for the next 5 years?
My guess: 25% chance Kiffin is still there.

Will Sark be at Texas for the next 5 years?
My guess: 90% chance Sark is still there.

That would make a big difference to me.

Serious question. Given Texas' last two coaches haven't lasted 5 years, what makes you 90% confident Sark will?

I also think Kiffin having Arch Manning on the roster would have an effect on his desire to stay at/leave Ole Miss

Wasn't Chris Simms the #1 overall player in his class? How many titles did he win?

Manning should just go to Notre Dame or Clemson, SEC defenses will work extra hard to destroy him every single week.
