I hope we can be good like denver in payton’s last year cuz Arch’s arm is broken like peyton’s was, there's no way we win natty though.

But...are you telling me if he wins the Heisman he was going to return to Texas? Sorry. But i find that very difficult to believe.

Peyton would’ve been a top 5 pick if he came out early, and didn’t. The Mannings are smart, they know that development is the key to long term NFL success. They don’t need the money, so why come out early and jeopardize long term success.

The NFL doesn't say a player is a sure fire Pro Bowler before they've ever taken a snap as a starter.

He was the preseason favorite to win the Heisman....and he might still do it

This is the dumbass post of the week. Yes, it is only Sunday and there are still 6 days left in the week.

But trust me…. You clinched it already.

Do I expect him to? No. Could he? I mean it's possible. I saw the media was still hyping him after this weekend. If you have strong media backing then it is possible. All he has to do is be slightly above average...but hey...go ahead and be a doubter that it can happen. I can name a few cases in which a player with great stats did no win it because another player had strong media backing.

Congrats on your teams big win, by the way. I hate ND, and was very happy A&M beat them.

well we have dia bell coming in next season if he doesn't flip. Unfortunately, I'm not sure he will ever be better than he is the day he shows up.

Or he might show up and completely forget how to throw a fricking football. That's how it goes at Texas. God hates us.

All the preseason questions asked about Beau Pribula should have been asked of Arch.

Given he is out the remainder of his senior season, that might be a possibility.

What did I miss? Did he get hurt?

I think you guys are jumping the gun. Texas still has 9 games to play and it's not his fault he was over-hyped coming into the season.

Losing at Ohio State is nothing to be ashamed of. Struggling against 2 patsies is a concern, but let's let this play out before you write him off.

BTW, I am decidedly NOT a Texas fan. In fact, this little bit of humility suits them well.

Last time I checked it was Arch not able to hit the side of a barn. Now tell me how that is the coaches fault.

You missed Manning's throws sailing high, sailing low, to the left, to the right, kissing clouds, eating dirt, arriving late, arriving early, ,... almost as if your sister were making the throws.

Um, I'm sorry, but remind me - why is Arch on the field? Who puts him there?

You sure about that? The amount of ink being spilled about how Jeanty is a generational running back and All Pro and HOFer before playing a single snap looked like the Exxon valdez

Tim Tebow came back to play the next season after he won a Heisman with Florida. Bryce Young same thing. One doesn’t necessarily mean the other won’t happen

Man this board loves to provide easy bookmarks

3 games as the full-time starter and he’s a complete lost cause. Love the negative karma building in here. Especially from teams that have to play against him
