Also, when Waterboy sacks that QB that’s says “momma loves you too” that’s former SC QB Mike Hold. I think his brother was some kind of football/stunt coordinator. That’s why Waterboy’s team beats Clemson in the headline montage.

Woah, I had no idea.

I think half the SEC appears in the blindside

Obviously Blindside, but I got a kick out of Big Red's appearance in Man of the House.

Opening sequence big hits are A&M laying wood to BYU in the Holiday Bowl.

Also rumors that “Sully” in Monsters Inc is a shout-out to Lawrence Sullivan Ross - A&M’s former President - and that somewhere in the battle sequence of Pirates of the Caribbean there is an A&M flag flying from one of the ships.

Actually the WW2 movie "We've Never Been Licked" was set and filmed on location at A&M. Was a war movie about Japanese spies and not a bad flick.

Used to play it at The Grove from time to time. Turner classics ran it a few years back.

Add - Frank Broyles was Lincoln's doctor. Some of the series was filmed on campus and you can see Ole Main in the some of the background shots.

That's not why.

The DoD saw the script of the movie and refused to endorse it with actual assets.

You’re right. That’s completely different from what I said.

Can’t believe I was so far off.

For those that don’t know, Norma Rae was filmed in Auburn/Opelika. Several Sally Fields and Burt Reynolds sightings since they were dating.
