Got to say that Auburn's conversion to a full on basketball school has been fascinating to watch.

These recent basketball meets have been a lot of fun to watch, haven’t they?

You do realize basketball is played in the SEC, right? I mean, UGA doesn’t participate, but it’s a sport and fans in the SEC do enjoy it.

It sure has been a fun ride! I remember days not so long ago when I didn't have anything to look forward to after January 1.

Now I have to find something to occupy me from September through November.

I wish UGA was good at basketball - I just think its incredible that Auburn is now a powerhouse basketball team & their football team is going the way of the buffalo.

They really should be the one team that gets re-ranked after every game. It would make for the fastest rise in rankings ever and the fastest fall. They're an enigma.

Wasn't expecting UK to jump that high despite that I do think they are a top 5 team. Surprised Bama isn't in the top 25

Alabama can literally get into the tournament with only 18 wins which means we only need 4 more wins to just get into the tourney....

and I look at the schedule and see all tough games and no gimmes because we play so inconsistent

we could beat Auburn on the road tomorrow then lose five straight after

everything is on the table

Am more amazed that the only sport that UGA tries to compete in is Football. As many resources and recruits in the State of GA in all sports, you would think they would at least try. I guess the 40 years of underachieving caused them to focus on Football. Maybe now they can join the rest of the SEC and participate in other sports.

I agree. Bama has the talent to beat anyone, but Oates just can’t get consistency out of the bunch.

If Bama looks respectable against Auburn and beats Kentucky I think they’ll be ranked

They'd do Oats, and the team a HUGE favor if they don't rank them. Humility is something that they tend to run out of on a regular basis.

An Oregon beat writer dropped us to 14 after the road win at Kansas. Has there been a year where AP voters have lost more credibility than this one? It’s apparent a lot of them don’t watch or pay attention to the games.
