Oklahoma shouldn't be ranked over Michigan State

Be honest, their quarterback play is awful.
If your being honest so is Alabama's
Look at the difference between the play of Mac Jones vs Bryce Young.
Yes I know Jones was 2 years older but still, big big drop off to Young

Lol, the definition of exposing one's self as ignorant. Well done.

It’s about results on the field. If it’s about potential then let’s just use the recruiting rankings

Check the results, it's well documented. Are you on the same level with the other poster? Good grief.

Auburn too high
Nope. I think Auburn could beat 4-6 teams ranked ahead of them right now. If they keep improving that number could go up. Harsin is doing work.

Yeh, well people would also say Bama would beat A&M 10/10 times. Whoops
You should rank teams based on the actual results on the field
Isn't that what he was doing? Cincinnati is undefeated but if you actually watched them play Tulane, you probably wouldn't have them in the top 10. They may make the playoffs but they're going to get crushed.
In the end, Is the ranking supposed to be an indication of what team has the best record of the year? Clearly not since Wake isn't tied for first.
The current AP rankings are a bastardization of two ideas. Best team at a given dated, adjusted by win loss.
It should really just be the former adjusted for injuries (primarily qb or an explosive rb) if we want to see the best teams at the end of the season playing

Ask Mich St if they would like to see us in the post season.
I'm pretty sure that is not how they determine rankings.
It will all work out. People panic over the very first rankings. Michigan State still has Ohio State to play.
If they get beat they fall. If they win they will probably jump Alabama. Of course, Alabama still has Auburn left and that won't be an easy win, either...especially after playing Arkansas.

State should have been ranked. They beat A&M and Kentucky.

Kind of related but Minnesota has quietly taken the lead in the B1GW race. I'm also pretty sure it's possible the ACC Coastal ends up with a 6-6 champion. Unlikely, but possible

They have similar numbers through 8 games. Bryce has more TDs.

So according to the APs own rankings, both Bama and Mich state only have one ranked win
Mich state beat #9 and Bama beat #15
Bama has a loss and Mich state is undefeated. It’s just a joke
Probably has something to do with Michigan State only having played 4 teams .500 or above with just one of them having a winning record
Their schedule is shite

The ACC is just awful. So, (I haven't looked) Wake Forest is in the same division as Clemson?

State too low. Ole Miss too high

If you had money on the line you know for a fact you wouldn’t put it on Michigan state over OU
