Punchline- Everybody has one, but the fact of the matter is they are totally wrong. With the schedule that Bama plays this year its more than likely 2 or 3 losses. Sark and that doofus Golding and then Satan with his BLM movement, a trainwreck

2009 - Bama won the BCS national championship with Jr. Greg McElroy in his 1st year starting. McElroy was a 3 star recruit.
2011 - Bama won the BCS national championship with Jr. AJ McCarron in his lst year starting. McCarron was a 4 star recruit.
2012 - Bama repeated the BCS natty with McCarron in his Sr. year.
2015 - Bama won the CFP national championship with Sr. Jake Coker in his 1st year starting. Coker was a 3 star recruit.
2017 - Bama won the CFP national championslhip with Soph. Jalen Hurts in his 2nd year starting, but was replaced with Freshman Tua Tagovailoa in the 2nd half. Jalen was a 4 star and Tua was a 5 star.

Alabama's titles over teams other than Clemson didn't come against a team with a QB as good as Trevor and a RB as good as ETN. The ND team they beat was probably the worst title game team ever.
Coker only beat Clemson b/c of Clemson's special teams gaffes.
Nobody is saying Alabama isn't capable of winning the title this year but it doesn't make sense right now to assert they would beat Clemson without seeing their QB play.

Playing a heavy injured team with most starters out is different than playing a team that does not have all t hose injuries. Just for example, both Alabama QB's in that title game had had leg surgery that year.
Also, teams that beat Alabama and Coach Saban do not fare so well the next time they play. Really do not fare well.

at y’all really thinking there’s gonna be a playoff and NC this year. It’s an exhibition year basically. Any winners that are crowned will have an asterisk next to it just like half of Bama’s claimed titles.
