No, no it won't. There is absolutely no chance Ohio State is in the Top 2, and I would not be surprised to see OSU outside of the Top 4 all together. I actually expect them to be out.

No, Bama is gonna be at 5 today. Doesnt matter though, after the game the winner will be in it, the loser wont be there when it comes out next week.

today? no. too many unbeaten teams at this point.
Jeff Long is too smart and savvy to let that national melt occur.

Bama won't. Too many undefeated teams.

Alabama is:
9th in Sagarin's SOS with a 4-1 record vs top 30 teams.
10th in SOS by S&P+ with a 2-1 record vs top 30 teams.
16th in SOS by FEI.
9th in SOS by points above/below average.
No matter what measurement you use (besides the polls which are routinely shite) Alabama has played one of the toughest schedules amongst the contenders.

Good thing the committee looks at the rank at the time the game was played and doesn't listen to you. Who have you played or LSU?
In that case, we beat the shite out of top 15 Auburn.

I have a feeling Florida is ranked ahead of Bama tonight. They may be 6 and 7

My guess for what the committee will do - They really look at big wins and teams like Baylor and Ohio State don't have many right now.
1. LSU
2. Michigan State
3. Clemson
4. Florida
5. Ohio State
6. Alabama
7. TCU
8. Baylor
9. Oklahoma
10. Stanford
Big wins
Michigan St.
Pick one.

It wouldn't shock me to see bama in the top 4 and lsu not and then see the rant go into complete meltdown mode.
Then of course we do have the privilege of having C. Rice as a voter so anything goes really.

I do think if the committee is true to their tendencies last year Bama will be ranked in the top 6 due to strength of schedule. Last year they put a lot of emphasis on what the team was ranked when you played them and we have already played and won against 2 top 10 teams on the road. And very impressively. Some points will be deducted because of where UGA and TAMU is today but not as many as you might think.
