Anyone discounting Georgia’s defense can frick off

I’m not patting Georgia’s back for losing the game, but seeing their defense getting discounted by a good majority of people on here and on social media rubs me the wrong way.

What happened to Georgia last night is essentially what happened to 2016 Alabama to a larger extent, so I can feel what you’re going through to an extent. Jalen Hurts, bless his soul, is one of the great ambassadors of Alabama football. But he was always an athlete and not a QB at least until proven otherwise and when an adequate defense like Clemson with an equally beefy offense presented themselves, he couldn’t keep up because of his limitations at the time. And really throughout his career. I believe that same instance manifested itself last night in a different way.


I know a good bit of you are trolling but anyone who watched the game yesterday could tell there’s a massive difference between Ole Miss raping Alabama’s defense for 600 yards and Georgia finally cracking under the pressure put on by Alabama’s offensive firepower. When you can’t score and the other team is just moving the ball up and down the field on you, you aren’t gonna win. So yeah, frick Georgia. But you got some studs on D.
