I keep hearing people complain about the concourses at Neyland, but the lower bowl on the east and west side concourses are narrow as well in Tiger Stadium

Besides BR, I've only been to 7: Fayetteville, Starkville, Knoxville, Nashville, Auburn (3),Bama,and Gainesville.
We're going to College station in November (ostensibly).

Ranking the stadiums I've been too besides Sanford because I'm biased.

1) Tiger Stadium - recent upgrades are nice to the actual stadium. Environment is 2nd to none. The whole state of Louisiana should probably spend Sunday confessing and repenting for their sins in that stadium on Saturday night.

2) Neyland Stadium - been twice. Neither time was Tennessee good. Blown out both times. Loyal fanbase that stays and is loud. Visitor side of the stadium sucks and is outdated, home side is nice and updated.

3) Jordan Hare - probably only #3 on my list and maybe #2 when they are good. When they are good its rocking. When they are mediocre its ehhhh. Need some updates stadium wise, but otherwise fun environment when they don't suck.

4) Alabama - pre-game Sweet Home Alabama is cool. Walk of Champions, The lights, video boards are all great. Fan base is ehh. Seem to want to shake their shakers more than they want to make it loud or stay in their seats.

5) Texas A&M - haven't been since the update, but I hear it is great. Wish they would stop focusing on their rehearsed chants and more on making that place loud. Seems like it would be the loudest in the country if so.

6) Vanderbilt - belongs to every other SEC team more than it does to Vandy

7) South Carolina - pick a different song.

I've been to all but aTm, Missouri, and USCe. My UGA trip was n 1976, so they still had the bridges street and railroad overpasses outside the endzones where fans stood. That was actually pretty cool to see. I lived in Gainesville in the mid-eighties, so I can't comment about the modern-day atmosphere.

Baton Rouge is far and away the best atmosphere for the home team, and it isn't close.

My buddy's seat at the Alabama-Tennessee game in Neyland two years ago. Many Vol fans are in denial, but it's impossible to exaggerate the cramped conditions.

My seat. Check where my feet are in relation to the top of the steps.

Notice the seats at the end of each row. If you're in those seats, your feet are blocking the walkway. Anytime any of the hundreds of fans in all those upper rows go to and from the restroom or concessions, you have to get up.

You can also see how narrow and steep the steps are, with no handrail. Two-way traffic up and down the steps is almost impossible. Multiply these conditions times all the sections of the upper bowl.

I’ve been to Alabama, Auburn, Starkville, Oxford, and Nashville for a game. Got to the better and for the sake of questioned posed I would leave the ranking in that order based on game day campus/stadium experience.

Speaking of picking, Izzy Mukaumu says hello. So do those hedges we picked and took home with us.

And 20-17 bitch.

One of the best analogies of the Tiger Stadium experience that I've read in a long time.

Have an upvote and a drink on me.

I've been to all the SEC stadiums. It's hard to separate the stadiums from the overall experience.

In no particular order:

Kentucky-Nice stadium and beautiful area.

Arkansas-Beautiful usually when Ole Miss plays there. Mountains and trees that are changing colors!

Georgia-Great campus.

LSU-Saturday night in Death Valley, doesn't get much better!

Texas A&M-Really enjoyed pre-game and stadium very impressive.

Florida-31-30. Beat Tim Tebow led team that goes on to win NC.

Least favorites:

Vanderbilt

South Carolina

Tennessee

I assume LSU will get to play in Mizzou at some point maybe?

I believe we'll host LSU in 2022.

Strangely enough, we've already hosted every school in the SEC except for LSU. Must be some weird scheduling quirk.

I will be freaking 40. And if I miss that one I’ll be 53 at the next chance. What a “conference” we’re in

Eliminate divisions. Problem solved. Bonus if you go to a 9-game conference slate.
