He's not my favorite. When I first found out about him, he seemed new and fresh. Then, I quickly grew tired of listening. Seemed like the same spiel. Got tired of the "Pate State" and "iJosh" phrases too.

I mean...that's been common rhetoric since before the days of Josh Pate, and it was aimed more toward the NFL than anything else. Does anyone truly believe that the 2007 New York Giants were the best team in the NFL that season?

He’s when I first heard it.
You have to win when it matters, otherwise you will have all these after the fact titles that don’t make sense.
If you want to change the system, ok but if we have it in place and then you still don’t agree with it then theres no point in playing the games.

We should all thank God he doesn't sport the companion goatee though.

Pate sold out. He started out talking about what "mainstream sports media doesn't want to talk about"
He is fully a mainstream Bama fan now.

He keeps it simple for the "Simps"

Anybody else find josh pate incredibly annoying?

Now that the SEC and especially LSU made him and he has gone national he has been kissing the Big 10's arse. He's a sell out!

Same. I would have a lot more respect for him if he would just come out and say he’s a gump instead of claiming he’s always been impartial

I liked him his first year or two. Put a lot of common sense into what he was talking about. The last couple of years he is just trying to stir up shite and get clicks. I have not watched him in a long time.

I was fortunate enough not to have heard that quip. My consumption of college football media lessened as Tennessee’s season went to hell

Do you like the Locked On podcasts for your sporting news?
We have Zack Blackerby for Locked On Auburn. He's decent.

His content a few years ago was actually good when talking about football. Now he just does what the other bobble heads do, and that’s to feed the troll narratives. Complete sell out

I liked him better at Latekick. But he's aight. The clown nose thing with Indiana was funny.
