In everyone's rush to bash the OP, one important issue was not resolved?
Who is Colby Spear? If both Saban and Miles are contacting him, he must be pretty damn good.
But I can't find out anything about him anywhere. He's not on 247, Rivals, Scout, or ESPN. I checked the Lufkin news websites, and I cannot find one word about him.

Why read anything into it at all. There was no hidden message in this article. He's being recruited by Nick and Les. Nothing new here, Nick and Les face off for recruits every freaking day man.
