I get jumping to the nfl if you’re going to be drafted in the first round. It’s literally life changing, family setting, money.

But man NFL teams are dumb if they draft him round 1

Might be a smart move for him. Play for a year, look raw but lots of potential for development, instead of staying for another year and proving that you're actually just not that good. He could fool a GM.

I can't see why any team would draft him.

He's a below 54% passer this past year. While it's good to get a QB who can run... passing is still the first job for a QB.

If I team I liked took him in the 7th round I'd be upset. Passing doesn't get easier in the pros.

I remain convinced that Mullen didn't even attempt to coach him.

Mullen told everybody AR wasn't ready to play QB last season

Asked again Monday what is holding him back from anointing Richardson as the starter, Mullen finally decided to clarify.

“An easy [example]. … He drops back. He misses a protection check. Then misses the hot throw. Then misses the primary read. And then scrambles around and runs, and everyone thinks, ‘What a spectacular play.,'” said Mullen before shrugging.

Mullen is pointing out that what might appear to be an outstanding effort to those externally may instead simply be a player lucking out by freestyling after making mistakes, as Richardson did in this example.

Glad we won’t have to face him again. His talent is obvious. Don’t think Florida’s system put him in the best positions

You will be surprised then. First rd lock.

He's gonna need a good coach but he has a hell of a skill set to work with. He's big fast, nice tight release, has insane arm strength.

It's the right choice to me. If he gets better he can do it in the league. Another year in college he runs the risk of not improving like people expected so i get it.

So many QBs bust in the league might as well take a shot on a kid with a crazy high ceiling. We see how Josh Allen worked out.

Physically he passes the eye test but will be a project....I think he goes in the later rounds.

Odd move. I don't see him as a high round pick given his passing issues. Not sure he gets picked at all.

He's still being rated anywhere from the 3rd to 5th best QB prospect in this draft. It's a really, really weak QB class. His tools alone will get him drafted, at worst, on day 2. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's a 1st round pick. Levis has been hot garbage this season and is still a projected top 15 pick.

Never seen someone as physically gifted as him be so inconsistent. Wish him good luck.
