I think this is SC's year against A&M. Fisher is too stubborn to play for the future, and will play a mediocre upperclassman just because he can

I seriously am getting tired of the man's stubborn attitude.

Honest question. I thought aggie's issue was too many true Fr starting.

They think a true freshman quarterback is their savior.

Much like how they thought Heisman Haynes was their savior when Mond was the starter.

It is about playing the young players and getting them experience for next year. It is about getting a real OC in the offseason. This season is done and dusted. We have teams like Texas openly recruiting players on our team and tampering.

Have to play the young ones, and see what they have for the future.

Could be the trajectory-defining win for Beamer since SC has never beat them. Expecting a close game, but I still don't think SC has the horses to deal with A&M's defense.

Where is this coming from?
I want to believe this but it looks like Jimbo is going to die on this hill.

If that sad sack Billy Liucci is openly talking about it, you can be sure it is happening. They aren't the only team doing so, either

TexAgs owner Billy Liucci has said a few times that offensive changes are coming in the offseason but I think at best we are going to get a Gus Malzahn situation where he meddles so much that getting a new OC won't really matter.

You baws are setting yourselves up for massive disappointment with this one.

Jimbo doesn't think his offense is a problem and even if he did, no good offensive coordinator is going to want to come there and get his offense constantly meddled with.

I think Aggies will get the Les Miles offensive run around for several years.

The guy is the most openly optimistic A&M guy ever, and he is talking openly about it. Most A&M fans were already aware, but nobody would speak about these things

Fisher's seat is getting hot, and the media is no longer making excuses for him. Several star players including the 5* true freshman referenced above are being openly recruited, since the NCAA will do nothing about it. Kind of like Sark did with Worthy and Michigan - I bet the kid regrets the hell out of that decision.

And if Fisher doesn't hire a real OC, there are many who will make sure his stay in CS is brief from here on out. Start losing 5* players to the portal and his goose is cooked

Defense is still very good (against everyone but Leach), offense finally started to look comfortable against Bama, and the bye came at a much needed time for us to get lots of banged up players healthy for the back half of the season.

Ole Miss and an improving LSU team are the toughest games left on the schedule, and both of those are winnable tossups at worst.

The other games still should be Ws. The sky hasn't fallen on the season, so please return to your coop.

2021

Xavier Worthy: 62 receptions, 981 yards, 12 TDs
Michigan leader: 40 receptions, 627 yards, 3 TDs
A&M Leader: 40 catches, 515 yards, 4 TDs

2022 (so far)

Xavier Worthy: 32 receptions, 432 yards, 6 TDs, 0 losses to Sun Belt teams
Michigan leader: 35 receptions, 429 yards, 2 TDs, 0 losses to Sun Belt teams
A&M leader: 26 receptions, 303 yards, 1 TD, winless against Sun Belt teams (this is Evan Stewart, so add a fumble lost to a Sun Belt team as well )

So... which of these stats that destroy your narrative contribute to him "regretting the hell out of his decision??"

If this is gonna be another Monday of you crying like a bitch incessantly, I'm here for it

The sky hasn't fallen. We still have one loss coming, whether to Ole Miss or LSU. 8-4 is the expectation and the most likely result.

We can squeak out a few ugly wins, but the off season is going to be brutal for Fisher if he doesn't check his ego and make some major changes
