I do wonder how he feels now about his decision to go to Arkansas,
In terms of success potential/wins, he definitely made a mistake in leaving Wisconsin.

He looks like he's been getting in reps. Put a red windbreaker on him, though, and he looks like he's about to waddle into a diabetic coma.

O, and found this while i was getting pictures...
haha

LOL. You know damn well bert aint buying salads, fruits, or vegetables. That dude is strolling through there on his way to the meat dept, the bakery, and the snack/candy aisle. Oh nvm, he's going vegan, I forgot. Don't even get me starterd on the DIET pepsi he's got in his buggy. Like he counts calories or something hahaha.

I like Gus more and more every day. He is a straight shooter.
ETA If it's from an East coach, that has Muschamp written all over it.

Atleast he's trying. Diet Pepsi tastes awful.

I think he underestimated how grueling the SEC
He honestly had it better at Wisconsin where he could make the B10 CCG by taking care of Iowa and Nebraska.

he had a pretty sweet gig going at Wisconsin
Bret B. got a huge raise to move the Arkansas.
You guys seem to forget this is a job and millions of dollars of money in play here.

Sounds like butt hurt gus. There was a reason he waited on Arkansas before taking the Allbarn job

Wonder who is the Go-To anonymous coach these days?
You know it was Spurrier back when he was in the league

Spurrier would just come out and say it. Not a guy to hide behind "anonymous"

Nutt had a team with McFadden, Matt Jones, and another rb that went to the pros. What did he do with that team?

Who cares what an anonymous coach says?

Lots of stories out there that Bret left Wis. due to serious constraints on financing. He kept losing staff members to other, lesser schools because the A.D. would not authorize above average salaries for his staff, year after year. He was, by most accounts, fed up with having to hire new staff every year, especially with all the good results he was having.
Haven't checked, but I'd be willing to wager that Saban lost more assistants to other gigs from 2008-2012 than Bert did at Wisky over that same stretch. Sure, not in lateral moves, but the fact is that attrition is something all successful HCs have to contend with, no matter how much financial support they get from their AD.

Are these not the same from last year? The Houston Nutt thing sounds too familiar.
