I'm not really sure why the facade of the WNBA being something sustainable must be maintained. It's front and center on my ESPN App as if it were the NFL or MLB. Do the powers that be within the sportsing world think they are fooling anyone?

I saw a video that did the math:
NBA players earn an average of $10 million per year (with big names obviously skewing that) - this equates to each player earning approximately 0.1% of the revenue for the NBA.
WNBA players earn an average of $113,000 per year - this equates to each player earning 0.18% of the revenue for the WNBA.
If you compare profits to salary, WNBA players are paid infinitely more than NBA players as the NBA earns a profit while the WNBA does not.

Caitlin Clark is legitimately good.
I'm not saying she's beating an NBA player or even a good male player one v one, but she's about the only one I could see having a shot against good male player.

I never understood why people thought she was soooo great. She was good, no doubt, but one of the best to come out of LSU? Not even close to being in the ballpark.

Honestly she seems like she just used the fact that in college she could physically bully her opponents; she got into the WNBA and there were fewer players she could pull that on.

It’s a more recent phenomenon. Early WNBA wasn’t as militant as it is today.
