has more to do with the atmosphere. Players walk onto the field and know they're playing Alabama, which is probably a little intimidating.
So nothing to do with the atmosphere. Got it.

I blame the SEC offices located in Birmingham for this survey

Back in the Peyton Manning days, Tennessee was as intimidating as anywhere.
Yeah, Neyland is tough when they are playing well.

It was 12 people's opinions. Don't really think 12 people is enough to even discuss.

It can get electric during big games but the stadium isn't very loud (and for good reason) when we are playing teams like UT-Chattanooga and Florida Atlantic.

Pretty much.
Crazy that when a team has been really good the atmosphere seems tough :mindblown:
Bama fans - just be happy your team has been so good the past few years. Good enough to overcome your quiet fans in the minds of 12 players.

From a biased fan trying to be objective perspective, I think the modern big 3 experiences are LSU at night, UF, and Auburn at night. Alabama's high end is lower than the high end of those 3 in my experience, but across the board, BD is up there as well and may be better than UF lately or Auburn/LSU during most day games.
SCAR is a great atmosphere, but has never struck me as truly intimidating. TAMU is the same, but that could change with the expansion and greater success. UGA is a good atmosphere but is not especially loud unless they're fricking demolishing Auburn and playing rap music, IMO.
Tennessee has the most upside of those not presently intimidating, obviously.

Not only is that the train that I remember, but I remember fights on Bama boards because of the standing/old people debate.
But apparently either things have changed, or Bama is engrained in these players heads about being such a huge game, everything appears more intense.

This surveyed 12 players, 3 of which who are from vandy and another 2 who are from Missouri. We can all agree no one is excited for vandy coming into your home stadium. The only away games Missouri has had while in conference are South Carolina(2), Florida(2), Tennessee(2), A&M(2), Vandy, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss. The loudest stadiums in the SEC are all missing. Here are the remaining mentioned players.
Mike Hilton -Ole Miss
Ryan Brown - Miss State
John Theus - Georgia
Skai Moore - South Carolina

BDS and Tuscaloosa in general have to have one of the best game day experiences around. I hate your team with a passion but was blown away at the IB last year.
AD's should follow the model that yall have going on over there.

It doesn't surprise me that the Miss. St guy said that, because the Bama-MSU game last year was loud as hell.

BDS, Jordan Hare, Tiger Stadium, and Sanford stadium are all great atmospheres.

NEW Kyle Field is supposed to be designed to enhance our loudness; excited to see if it was worth the wait.

My experience there is limited to Iron Bowls - very nice stadium but not particularly loud.
Not consistently loud maybe...2010 IB in the first half was the loudest stadium I have ever been in.

Yeah, but the students must have left the game early, wasn't nearly as loud in the 2nd half.

I haven't been to a game in Kyle Field but hope to in the future
