I went to my first game in Fayetteville this year.

Not sure how you can get to 117db these days with only 6k in attendance.

Oh shite. We had football season this year? I must have missed it.

Long trip to take if you don't mind losing but still enjoying all the other benefits you stated.

Lol, you talk about LSU being empty by third quarter. Whilst your fake arse fans leave the game by halftime and are constantly being called out by players and saban himself.

If the Vols had teeth, they'd get an extra 4db and beat Kyle Pasture.

Why does it bother you that a stadium other than your school’s may be louder?
What a strange thing to get bent about.
Kyle Field’s noise doesn’t detract in any way from Tiger Stadium’s environment.

If you’re a Clemson fan I’m sure you’ve attended a game at Death Valley so your comment is puzzling. The stadium is literally below ground level with 80K screaming down into the bowl. I’ve stood on the field level during a game. It’s deafening.
The OP completely changed the original link on us so our posts don’t really make sense.

Anyway, I’ve been going to games at Clemson my whole life and was at the BC game that it references. I’m just thinking about how acoustics work. The other fields are completely surrounded by upper decks. No doubt Clemson fans know how to get loud.

Fayetteville has never been known for being a particularly hostile road environment. War Memorial in Little Rock used to get ridiculously loud for big games.

Let me guess, that record is from at least 9 years ago.
