An Old Razorback's perspective on Texas joining the SEC

Yes, this is my first post even though I've followed this board for about five years. I've been a Razorback fan since 1978 when the Hogs beat OU in the Cotton Bowl. When Frank Broyles moved Arkansas to the SEC, one of the best, I mean absolute best perks was that we no longer had to deal with Texas. Playing them was always entertaining, but dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. Everyone is so quick to jump on Texas A&M for not wanting Texas to join the SEC, but as an old Razorback fan, I completely understand where A&M is coming from. It is hard to verbalize what the SEC is about to experience with Texas. They are bullies, HATEFUL, and arrogant to the extreme. Really there are no adjectives to explain what Arkansas and A&M endured.
I'm gonna keep this short. I think it will benefit Arkansas for Texas to join the SEC for many reasons that have already been discussed here. But, mark my words, this is what will happen: Texas will play coy and not make waves UNTIL Saban retires. After Saban retires, everything will change. Texas will either take over the SEC, or make all the other schools miserable while trying to claw their way to the top. I absolutely dread it. Mark my words. You were warned. Too bad Sankey doesn't see this.

You didn't give one reason for why Arkansas is gonna benefit from this.

By the time Saban retires, Texas will be in full woke mode and football will be replaced by 3x3 basketball and dildo hide & go seek marathons

Hell, as the only non texas team we got screwed by all those bastards and their texas refs and rules. I didn’t want aggie here and I damn sure didn’t want texas.
But they won’t own this conference so there will be more equal footing.

Win or lose it was a hard fought game. It always seemed those years we would lose at football we would beat that arse in Basketball. Made for some fun years. I think the Arkansas Texas rivalry will surprise the SEC with it's tenacity.
