SWC was them, Arky, Aggy, and a bunch of stiffs like Rice and pre-Gary TCU. Any of us would have won a billion conferences titles there too.

I understand why old hog fans hate Texas.
I don't understand it from this perspective. It feels very Boomerish, old Arkansas to me.
The last time Arkansas and Texas were in a league together, Fayetteville was an isolated Ozarks outpost, tiny in comparison to big ole Austin and Texas.
NWA is a great metro now, and in some ways, a better version of what Austin used to be before it got over-run by Californians and traffic. We have money. We have amenities any city would be proud to call their own.
