Well, dont know why that official acknowledged his comment either.
Notice the other officials in this video that just kept walking and never reacted. I like that.

When SEC officials and security can do THAT, we should all stop going to SEC games...

Allegedly, when Ole Miss went out to play a baseball series at UCLA 4-5 years ago, security told Ole Miss fans chanting Hotty Toddy to stop the chant or they would be removed from the stadium for using profanity.
In their defense it is a shitty chant

Maybe about like he would living in Auburn.

I probably should've been kicked out of quite a few basketball games if that's all it takes these days. Said much, much worse loudly directed at an official well within earshot. Even once had a Vandy player mouth "frick off" to me after he fouled out, so I know my voice carried haha

Dear Official,
I am sorry that your apparent macular degeneration has rendered you disabled and unable to accurately call SEC basketball games. I'm glad I was able to point this out to you before it had rendered you completely blind. I wish you all the best in your treatment and retirement.

Completely excessive, though I do understand the principle. While, practically-speaking, refs are going to get flack, it's fair to point out that this situation is no different from any situation where a worker is being subjected to personal abuse for doing his or her job. Being cussed out isn't actually a part of the job description. It's going to happen, and refs need thick skin to perform their duties, but I don't think it's unfair to point out that, at the most basic level, fans aren't actually entitled to abuse the men working the game. The response here might be excessive but hardly a travesty of justice.

They would not have let me in Oktibbeha County these days.

2008 NCAA Baseball Super Regional UGA vs NC State, Game 3.
The hecklers on Kudzu Hill were so on point that they made the right fielder request a position change. That poor back-up right fielder got it 10x worse.

Leave it to a Vandy fan to post some logical conclusion. Get that shite out of here...this is a sports board!

I'm not claiming Auburn is the greatest place on earth, but Starkville has all the charm of an East German village circa 1983.

The Snowflakes around here don't know it, but Starkville has improved more in just the last two years, than it had in the preceding five, with a lot more coming.

Dude, I've been there a bunch, my girlfriend graduated from MSU, so let's not act like it's some beacon of culture. And snowflake? Really? Lay off the brietbart Hannity.
And to be fair, it really has improved a bunch...I actually like Starkvegas but it's such an easy joke on here I couldn't resist.
