Problem is, UGA seems to start really slow, and have real trouble playing to full potential against lesser teams.

We always start slow, but ND isnt the type of game that is comparable to the lesser teams you speak of. We are becoming very Bama like in that we only show up for big games

What's with the Arkansas hate? Are y'all blaming us for Sam Pittman? Makes no sense.

The score won’t show it but the play will.

I think it will be closer bc Georgia won’t be able to put 30+ up and Notre dame might score in garbage time/4th down time late in game but Notre dame hasn’t played a team close to skill and talent and physicality as Georgia.

Not to mention they’re watching film on a Georgia team that was pretty much walking dead most of the year. This will be the freshest Georgia has been since Clemson and I expect a 27-17 type win with Notre dame earning every yard.

I think people really underestimate how banged up Georgia was all year playing the #1 SOS

GA will be the best team ND has faced, but ND will not be the best team GA has faced. ND has too many injuries. They also have the nation’s worst kicking game. And they lack Smart’s experience in these big game environments.

This season GA is battle tested. ND & their schedule = Fool’s Gold. What’s their signature win — Indiana?

Not worried about ND at all.

I think ND is just a worse version of Texas, so GA probably has a good chance.

That's a fair assessment.

Georgia is a bad match up for ND. ND is the typical team that Georgia can just ine up and pound them into submission by running the ball. Run the ball and play defense.

Other than Ben Morrison, Notre Dame's injuries are all on their offensive line and defensive front seven. And these injuries are to some of their best players (Morrison, Mills, etc.) I mean, they've got true freshman playing on the offensive line. You need some high octane 2019 LSU-esque QB and WRs to circumvent that and Notre Dame certainly doesn't.

Ultimately, Notre Dame lacks the size and depth on both lines to play a full game with Georgia. They aren't going to be able to rotate guys in and out because they don't have the bodies. One podcast said they were working in backup guards and tackles at DT just for the needed depth. Think about that. They're spent.

Georgia's going to play this game in a phone booth. Physical, tough, dirty, mean "grown man" football. This will be a brawl and Notre Dame doesn't have the guys to bang in there with them.

This one will never be in doubt. Notre Dame won't move the ball on that defense and Georgia will just keep hammering away at them. Georgia's up 20-10 going into the 4th when Georgia really pulls away in the 4th on a beaten up, tired, depleted Irish team.

Georgia - 34
Notre Dame - 10

Can't wait to see Etienne start popping off 35+ runs in the early 4th quarter to put uga up by 17.

34-17

I'm really getting a 1/9/2012 21-0 feeling in this one.

No, I am sure all the mutt fans believe this. I believe and will bet on UG winning a close game.

Totally dominates? I'm not that lucky. I'm sure this game will keep my blood pressure at maximum levels from start to finish. We haven't dominated anyone all season.
I certainly think Georgia is capable of winning by a couple of scores. If our defense plays up to its potential and we don't turn the ball over, that's what will happen.

I think UGA's defense will dominate ND.

ND is one dimensional on offense and those are the teams UGA defenses tend to hold to 10 points or less. ND doesn't pass well.

The part I'm not sure about is how much UGA scores. I think UGA scores enough to win... but it could be a 14-10 win just as easily as a 35-10 win.
