How do you show up flat for a NCG?

Go ask this question over on the Tiger Rant and let me know what the Rantards will have to say about 1/9.

Fortunately, Bama is a slight over 89% in the redzone, with 41 TD's on 57 attempts, with an additional 10 FG's. 35 rushing TD's for the season.

If Bama loses, this will be the reason. If we get down into the red zone and start kicking FGs, it's going to be a long night.

I think Bama will do well. On the season..

Bama 72% TD's when reaching the redzone. 18% FG's when reaching the redzone.

The only thing that concerns me is the mobility of Golson and offensive turnovers for us. If those two are solved. Bama wins by 10+

I don't think Teo is better than Jarvis Jones.

No one on their team is better than Demontre from TAMU.

Their defense isn't as good as LSUs. They don't have the LSU speed and I think they are equally as strong as UGA LBs.

Goddamn, I'm really getting tired of Bama fans already making excuses if they lose this game. If Bama loses, they will lose because Notre Dame is the better team and outplayed them not any of this "lack of focus and we overlooked them" bullshite. Same thing with the Utah game. Bama lost that game because Andre Smith was suspended and the secondary got badly exposed by Utah not because the team didn't care about playing in the Sugar Bowl. Do people really think that a team making their first BCS bowl appearance in eight years? They played in the Independence Bowl the previous two years. If they couldn't get up for that game, what the hell's the point of playing in a non-BCS Championship bowl game in the first place? This shite's really pissing me off. If Notre Dame beats Bama, give them their credit for winning the game. Stop with these excuses.

In comparison...

Notre Dame redzone trips:

58 times
27 TD's - 46.5%
19 FG's - 32.7%
No score - 18.9%

I just don't think we want it as bad as N.D. does. We are the superior team, no question. Just seems to be a lack of focus with the players and fans already celebrating number 15.

It looks and feels like the miami/alabama game in 92'. I think the underdog come in and shocks the world.

73 is legit. UPI/Coaches Poll.

41 not so much.

I think they will. I also think the ND secondary gives up quite a few yards on play-action. I think Cooper could have a big night and Lacy and Yeldon combine for at least 200 yards.

I said I think they will be the 3rd or 4th best Bama faces this year. I expect a 31-14 or so type game. Maybe even a little bigger margin.

I'm predicting 31-10....We're pretty close on our predictions.

MOney for your conference. Other than that, there is no reason.
