So is Oregon being crowned the best team in the nation because

A) SEC is down this year?

Or

B) They are really that legit? If so, how so more than the previous few years?

I don't see anything special than what I have seen the past few years and we all know how that goes...

they're crowned every year. they use their offense to destroy shitty teams on their shitty schedule. Kind of like what Bama is doing this year

It has a lot to do with many wanting anyone but the SEC to win the title. The media outside of the south is going to choose who they think has the best chance to knock off the SEC and pump them up

WA = 10th best defense in the nation coming into the game. Oregon defeated WA in Seattle. Oregon trounced Tennessee. Georgia barely beat them, Florida only beat them by 2 touchdowns. Legit? You do the math.

LSU lost to Georgia. Missouri beat Georgia. Missouri is better than LSU right?

You say in Seattle like that means anything at all.. Damn son. Oregon always trounces Tennessee... Nothing new. Georgia's defense sucks. Florida's offense isn't that great either... Next question?

I hate to break it to you but Auburn has always been good. Oregon, the last 10-15 years and that is being generous. 2010 was just one of the 3 undefeated seasons we have had in the last 20 years. Where is your team on the all time win list. We are #13.

LSU can say they whooped arse. But they should also keep in mind that was an entirely different team with a different roster, no Mariota, and it was the very first game of the season. Auburn did not whoop any arse. The game was tied up till the end. End of story.

The SEC is not officially down on the rant until Bama beats LSU.

Anyone who knows anything about college football will tell you this Oregon team is more talented and deeper than previous teams. People that don't know college football will repeat the same shite they read from others, how Oregon is hyped every year and isn't any better.

They are better this year than they ever have been. IMO they would beat anyone in the country right now.

wasnt oregon the greatest thing since sliced bread last year. then they got beat, at home, scored what 14 points.

same song and dance, only question is, how many losses do the ducks end up with this year. i'm guessing 2. and we'll still have to hear how great that offense is

I'll play.

UF dominated Tennessee just as bad as Oregon did. Even though the points may not show it.

No one besides A&M in the sec has an offense like Oregon, that will beat a shitty team by 60. But say if both Bama and Oregon play Cal. Oregon beats them by 50 and Bama beats them by 30 that doesn't mean Oregon is 20 points better than Bama.

What happens is when Oregon plays shitty teams their speed and big play capability is so much great than the teams they play yet blow up the score board. Where Bama would just wear the team down and score on 5-7 minutes drives.

Don't get me wrong I normally pull against Bama every week but if they are sanding at 13-0 I hope they beat the hell out of Oregon. It will happen if they play. Just like how Auburn and LSU shutdown that high flying offense.

Oregons offense this year is same story different year. Come play a big boy and see how many points y'all score. (And no Tennessee isn't a big boy)

I know they are better than previous years. But how and when do you decide that they are the best team in the country when they consistently fall short against big time opponents?

This Oregon team hasn't fallen short of anyone. They're undefeated.

Oregon is the Texas A&M offense with a legitimate top 20 defense.
