the SOS argument. No Oregon fan would use that in an argument as its a weak area when compared to the SEC
Our schedule is heavily backloaded and we don't play severely injured teams and then boast how bad azz we are when we beat them. Mizzou is capital B, BAD AZZ.

Didnt Stanford lose to Utah?
Isn't Stanford still ranked #6? And didn't Bama lose to Utah in a recent bowl game?
quote:

Yeah... UCLA, (3-loss) Washington and Oregon State are all powerhouses
I like how you tacked on one extra loss for UCLA and conveniently forgot to mention Stanford or the fact that OR St. is ranked. Big surprise coming from an FSU fan.
quote:

You are delusional. FSU has a better schedule, QB, coach, team, and fans
You are Bama. As such being pussies comes with the territory. The cream puff schedule. Lackluster OOC competition. You prefer the known to the unknown. I'm sure you want Baylor or Texas Tech as your opponent because you want the easiest win possible. You haven't been challenged and you are overrated.
quote:

Wrong answer. Stanford will be ranked below Clemson and possibly even VT
Clemson has proved it doesn't belong and can't run with the big dogs. V Tech? :rotflmao: Why are they even in this discussion? They are like Baylor and Texas Tech. They all play shoddy teams and really don't deserve their current positions in the rankings. It'll be nice to see all of these teams sucker punched out of contention in the coming weeks as the cream rises to the top of the coffee cup.

Mizzou and Bama both control their own destiny at this point in time. If one or the other wins out they are in, period.
Which program do you see your team playing in the Chik Fil A bowl this year?
quote:

An undefeated FSU over an undefeated Oregon is a given. Based on public perception alone. FSU is a CFB blue blood against Johnny come lately Oregon.
Doesn't matter what they did 20 or so whatever the frick years ago. We've been more impressive than them for 4 straight years. They can go ahead and go undefeated if they want to. Won't do them any good. We have the inside track and the tougher competition ahead of us. It's ours to lose.
quote:

There are only two programs that control their own destiny to the BCSNC game. Both reside in the SEC
Incorrect. There is only 1. And it's the one that wins the SEC championship game. The other is SOL and will be playing in the vaunted Chik Fil A Bowl.
quote:

And if you beat Stanford what will they be ranked?
Easily still in the top 15, maybe even in the top 10 if other teams ahead of them make a poor showing.
quote:

So if the pollsters know whats up in your opinion why this thread?
Just for kicks. It's entertaining to set fires under some tiger arse then watch them jump around.
quote:

And they know that FSU is more legit that Oregon
Doesn't worry us at all. They've got a scant lead no longer than a mouse's tail, and just as soft. Beating UCLA will return us to the #2 spot and we'll be there to stay so long as we take care of business.
quote:

Oregon is the most overrated program in the NCAA
You lost to Auburn. You're crying on the wrong thread. :wah: :doublebird:
quote:

Don't worry Daffy you only have a year left to wait. After that the Ducks will beg for the BCS to be reinstated.
The BCS formula works. It should be expanded to include 4 teams rather than a ridiculous, biased, fricking political committee comprised of active AD's from U$C and other corruptors who've somehow bought their way in on the panel.
quote:

And Stanford lost to Utah. Much worse loss than A&M to Auburn
Yet Stanford is still #6 and the highest 1 loss ranked team. Vegas and the pollsters must know more than you, pachyderm.
quote:

The only way you can undo that perception will be on the field.
Yep. Pretty much this. It's why we've retooled and got some bigger guys so we can deal with the SEC when we inevitably clash with them again. We aren't the same team as the 2010 squad.
quote:

The fact that they're an above average troller, Hawg fan.
I am a hawg fan. But only in the sense that I have an appreciation for bacon.
quote:

Oregon's best win is against an overhyped Washington team
We've got UCLA and Stanford coming up. What was Bama's best win? The aTm win is losing some of its luster after Auburn beat them. If it weren't for the clout of your two straight championships, there would be nothing to justify you sitting at 1. Your SOS is not all that impressive.
quote:

We rose up with the spread in 2007 right about the same time that you were rising up as well, you rose higher since then and congrats on that but we are a fellow up tempo offense based initially on 3 star recruits fitting a system...if anything wouldn't a Duck fan be happy to see such a program doing well in the SEC, as justification for thinking your own program is the shizz? Just trying to follow this here other than straight trollin'. I've never given a single frick about Oregon and can't quite follow why they would give a frick about us
If you're getting trolled it means you're achieving some success. Oregon knows you exist. I actually think it's funny and entertaining watching an upstart team turn the SEC on it's head. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
quote:

Oh wait. I get it now. Your pissed because Mizzou who actually now plays legit competition in the SEC gets a top ten ranking
When you play legit competition that isn't decimated by injuries, your stock will rise. Until then you're sitting on borrowed time.
quote:

when the SEC homers cross the field, present themselves before the Mizzou army, put their heads between their legs, and kiss their own arse.
These guys are getting pretty big heads. Looks like you all will have to deal with them until Bama lays the clown hammer on them.
