Already sick of ESPN broadcasts

So many of these young ESPN play-by-play announcers act and sound like chatty FM DJs, almost like they're trying to sound buzzed or half drunk on purpose. The play-by-play announcer on this Miami/Stanford game is a little idiot. You can tell he thinks he's a master wordsmith and everybody is just hanging on his every word. shite's undignified. I miss Keith Jackson and prime Brent Mussberger.

Jackson was the goat as far as announcers go. Comparing anyone to him really isn’t fair. I’m just glad I got to grow up in an era that still had him in the booth.

As long as it’s not that woman on whichever network. That’s unbearable.
Will say, I thought that little dude announcer last night for the GT vs. Colorado game was a woman until they showed him. My jaw dropped.

This is a good way to put it. They think that viewers are hanging on their every word and that they ARE the show.

the epsn broadcast earlier had the broadcasters names on the score graphic. Like WTF? talk about main character syndrome

As play-by-play football announcers who kept their words to a minimum and let the color guy do his thing…I go with Pat Summeral. Smooth as silk and didn’t continuously talk.

Believe it or not hoss, they only called one game a week and usually on Saturdays. So you really aren't missing anything.
We didn't have bad announcers as much before because not nearly as many games were being broadcast on TV.

I don't like ESPN/ABC coverage of SEC football.
Their replays/camera angles suck as well as their commentators.
Never had the replay and poor camera angles issues when it was SeeBS.
