Why didn’t he just opt out game one while we’re at it?

I don’t concede he’ll lose money. Even with the injury, I’d rather have Matt Corral leading my NFL team than Pickett.

Injuries can happen anytime. People calling the bowl games meaningless as if a large number of regular season games aren’t the same.

If we are being honest, what game isn’t “meaningless” for a player with pro prospects. Even the playoffs if we are going this route.

Chad Kelly was a day 2 pick before his acl tear. If corral drops even from day one to day two that costs him millions. I don’t blame him for wanting to play, but everyone who want unpaid athletes to play in an exhibition game can go frick right off

Then don’t play at all so no one depends on you and has to be let down when you don’t play in a game that means something to them.
