Herschel > Bo
IMO Bo is better, but it is very close and I am biased.

Tre Mason

Ran for 1800 yards in the SEC. Shows he is not just a system running back by having a good rookie season in the NFL.

Carnell "Cadillac" Williams

All American

Rudi Johnson

Ran for 1500 yards in his only college season. Finished top 10 in Heisman voting. Not sure how that is overrated.

Brandon Jacobs

Rode the bench behind Carnell and Ronnie. Just shows how deep our running backs were in 2002/2003.

3,321 career rushing yards.

Kenny Irons

Ran for 2200 yards in two seasons.

Joe Cribbs

I don't know what Joe Cribbs you are talking about. The one I'm talking about went to Auburn.

I just wanted to point out that you listed Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler in the same list as Greg McElroy, AJ McCarron, and Blake Simms.

Joe Cribbs was he not the rb from AU that could not write or spell his name yet has a degree from AU, Brent Fullwood did not go to class in one of the years he played football, Au done a great injustice to him and his family, Joe Cribbs is a class act as a man and rb, but it was still wrong passing him thru without the grades, I am not knocking Cribbs he is a very nice person.

Judging by your sentence structure and word usage, knocking someone else's intelligence seems like a pretty bad idea...

And he didn't even mention the Bama QB who would go on to have the best pro career, Bart Starr....

This pains me...
But yeah, Auburn RBU... even UGA with Herschel, Auburns had as many just below goats as anybody.
Marcus Dupree coulda, but he blew his chance.
It's Auburn.
QB... too close to call
O.L.. Bama no question
L.B.. Bama no question
D.B.. LSU or Tn. Toss up (bama close)
W.R.. Tn, slightly over LSU.
D.L. hardest to pick, pick our favorite.
Rest? who cares... choose your fav.

Interesting thread but I would say RBU would be Georga with Auburn close If not tied. Just my opinion - herchal and Bo lead their schools and both were fun to watch - as my daddy used to say "those are men playing against boys!". Also deuce was pretty good and I really enjoyed watching him play.

Ps nobody mentioned al bundy, remember he had 3 td's in one game at Polk high!

Plus you have Leak/Grossman as well. Sucks we haven't had a decent QB since Tebow left

I'll stack the following RB's up against anyone's in the history of this conference:

Frank Sinkwich,Charley Trippi, Willie McClendon, Herschel, Keith Henderson, Tim Worley, Lars Tate, Rodney Hampton, Garrison Hearst, Terrell Davis, Robert Edwards, Musa Smith, Knowshon Moreno, Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb,

With Herschel being the best of all time, Production, Wins, Championships in college support that and not a Nike ad campaign that manipulated a generation of now middle aged men.
