Westbrook is a phenomenol NBA player. Averaged less than 13 pts a game in his best season at UCLA.

He was only there for a year and he was the best PG I could think of off the top of my head. Mayne Tyus Edney?

He was there 2 years. But it doesn't matter, traditionally, UCLA and Kentucky have the best basketball programs in the country.

Best NBA guy sure. But Kevin Joyce and Roche were both great and could take that title. Joyce was an Olympian in 72'

Auburn is hard because our best players are all forwards

If I had to put together a lineup I’d probably go

G Doc Robinson
G John Mengelt
F Chuck Person
F Mike Mitchell
F Charles Barkley

That’s small but with Barkley’s rebounding we should only suffer defensively. If I wanted a true center I’d add Mamadou N’Diaye or Matt Geiger, or in the spirit of today’s small ball I could replace both my guards with Marquis Daniels (primary ballhandler/playmaker) and Wesley Person and just have a team of switchable wing types.

Also considered adding Moochie Norris for the Afro alone

Take off Simmons & replace him with Landers Nolley.

Lee Mayberry
Todd Day
Scotty Thurman
Corliss Williamson
Joe Klein

Hard to leave off guys like Alvin Robertson, Sidney Moncreif, Darrell Walker, Marvin Delph, Oliver Miller, Sonny Weems, Ronnie Brewer, Bobby Portis, Joe Johnson, and Al Dillard, but I’d put these 5 against anyone.
