One of my favorite players ever to watch. He was cold blooded down the stretch in close games. That high arch shot to beat Kansas in Phog was insane

UCLA, UNC, Kentucky but straight up stat line - Pete and Jackson give you 70+ a night.

Kentucky’s all time top 5 would sweep a mythical tournament against any other sec schools top 5.

I've been waiting for a Charles Barkley reference. In my opinion, he counts for an entire frontcourt all by himself. Not to mention the greatest golf swing of all time.

BJ McKie has to be on that list.

Simmons is not on that list for LSU

Let’s just say you have to control LSU’s portion size, cuz no matter what, they finna eat.

In reality, the Final Four in this top 5 is LSU, UK, Kansas, and UCLA in my opinion.
Would be fun to watch
ETA: UNC is right there also as is Georgetown

Take out Ben Simmons put in Rudy Macklin.

I still think a 3 guard lineup for LSU is better. Waters at PG, driving the lane to score or dishing to Pistol Pete, Chris Jackson at each a wing for 3, or Shaq down low. Nobody is going to be able to stop that.

Forgot about Georgetown
They trot out Ewing, Morning, and Iverson.
Fill out the other two as you see fit.
They are a force

Thinking about it more, I think Syracuse trots out a legit 5

He is very, very good at basketball. You might not like him but how do you stop him?
You make him actually shoot the ball...

PG Timmy Bowers/Daryl Wilson
Sg. Jeff Malone
SF. Dontae Jones
Pf. Bailey Howell/Lawrence Roberts
C. Erik Dampier/Jarvis Varnardo
Solid but you are forgetting Leland Mitchell, Joe Dan Gold, Red Stroud, Ray White, Rickey Brown, Wiley Peck, Tony Watts, Mario Austin, Chuck Evans.
Jeff Malone was the best pure shooter we have ever had. If they would have had the three point line in those years, he would have averaged 3-4 more points a game. Incredible range.

UCLA would be an overwhelming favorite. Their all time starting five would be absolutely disgusting. Off the top of my head:
Alcindor
Walton
O'Bannon
Westbrook
Reggie Miller
I'm sure someone older than me could put together a much better lineup.

56% from the field - not a 3 point shooter but it doesn't matter when you can get to the rim at will you shouldn't settle for a 3. As a reference point Michael Jordan shot 52% from the field at UNC, averaged 20 points in his best season. Simmons 56% and 19 a game.
