I just gotta say amongst all the bs hype I'm just really glad to have football back.

One coach has averaged the #9 recruiting class while the other has averaged the #31st best recruiting class in the country since 2013.
One coach plays against the teams that have averaged #1, #3 and #4 since 2013 every single season. Those three teams alone account for 15 of his 31 losses (and 7 of his wins).

The other coach has played those same three teams 10 times. He's lost every one of those contests.

I am not going to say that Kentucky WILL beat Auburn, but I would rate it at ~66.6-33.3 in Auburn's favor. Kentucky certainly has a chance and no one should be shocked if they win.

If you put a gun to my head, I would say that Auburn wins 24-17 or something to that effect.

So you're saying over half his losses are to bad teams? Very troubling for a top 10 recruiting class.

A quarter filled JHS won't have the same voodoo magic.

Kentucky has the better coach.

Kentucky is the better team this year.

I realize you’re trolling, but I’ll play along anyway.

Good teams lose to bad teams occasionally. That’s why they call them “upsets”.

FWIW, to date Gustav has only lost one game out of those 31 to a team that finished it’s season with w losing record - Tennessee in 2018.

How has Stoops fared against sub-.500 teams?

I'm not going through 84+ team records over 7 years to find out

Well I guess technically I'd only need to check 44 but that still sounds like effort.

The answer is 6 losses won the rest of em.

2013 Vols
2014 Vanderbilt
2017 Florida - The last temptation of sharks
2018 Vols
2019 Miss State because they lost their bowl game
2019 South Carolina

You can't underestimate the huge advantage that Auburn will have by playing in a nearly empty Jordan-Hare stadium

Demons live in that stadium.

Both came into the SEC IN 2013

Stoops is 44–44
Gus is 62-31
One inherited a roster built by Gene Chizik, who won a national championship.

The other inherited a roster built by Joker Phillips who managed to take a 7-8 win annual roster and turn it into a 2 win machine, getting humiliated by the likes of WKU.

The roster that won 3 games and zero conference games in 2012?

3) UKs QB is coming off a major injury

The guy who went 10-3 as a sophomore starter and whipped Penn State in the Citrus Bowl?

That QB?

The one who got injured over a full calendar year ago and has been healthy for quite awhile?

That one?

If Kentucky had the past 4-5 star talent as Auburn......Stoops would have been coach of the year....multiple times!

Hard to see the logic. You just admitted that not only can Stoops not coach, He can't recruit either.

If Only, If Only,

Alabama still wants two seconds back.
