I just checked.
Brian Kelly still has never won a single BCS, CFP or NY6 bowl game.
Not a single one.
LSU fans are beating their chests after beating Clemson by 7 points. Many are already claiming the 2026 national championship. They are conveniently ignoring that Georgia beat Clemson last season in game one 34-3 and South Carolina beat Clemson in game twelve 17-14.

You obviously do not understand us LSU fans. We turn on our football coaches that win national titles. We turned on Paul Dietzel, we turned on Saban, we turned on Miles, and we turned on Orgeron. The reason we've already turned on Kelly is that we fully expect him to win a national championship here at LSU, so we're getting a head start on the hating.

I am ambivalent about Kelly, but this narrative should stop immediately. He was the all time winningest coach at ND because he had the longest tenure at ND. He is #15 or #16 in winning percentage, but even that is a dishonest way of painting his tenure, as it's easier to have a higher winning % when you have a very short tenure, as several coaches did that have higher wining percentages.
Kelly had 12 years at ND. Coaches with similar time frames are:
Lou Holtz 11 years
Ara Parseghian 11 years
Frank Leahy 11 Years
Knute Rochne 13 years but 31 fewer games
Of those coaches, Kelly had the lowest win percentage.
Maybe he will win a National Championship at LSU...maybe he won't. But claiming his greatness based on his winning the most games at ND is silly and makes anyone making that claim look silly.
It would be like Georgia fans claiming Mark Richt was a better coach than Kirby Smart, because he won more games.

It was only 1 game and the first game of the season...but they looked very good. If they continue to play as well the rest of the year, I would be shocked if they lose 3 games.
Toughest games will be @Ole Miss, @Alabama and @Oklahoma. Not playing Texas or Georgia will definitely be a plus. I will not be surprised at all if they are in the SECCG.

The kid would have not died had he not mandated having the outdoor practice with 50+ mph winds. He didn't murder the kid but the kid died because of his piss poor decision.

If you’re comparing BK to Biden that’s crazy. BK was a great option to come in and stop the bleeding, and make sure we could at least be somewhat competitive. Questionable ceiling but pretty high floor which is what we needed.
