Alabama got pushed around in the trenches more this year than the last 5 years combined.

And they have 3 first team OL, 1 DL, and 1 LB.

They were 5th in sacks allowed and really didn't run over any of the better teams they played, but 3 of the 5 best OLs in the league are on that line?

Hmmmm

agree. His talent is unquestioned but he didn't have an All-SEC year..

Super talented, but only had a few good games this year. Plus he missed a few. These voters clearly are going on name recognition alone.

They should at least give Ralph Webb an honorable mention or something.

There's no way one of top 3-5 defenses in the country only has two guys on the all-conference 2-deep. That's horse shite.

Also, yeah, the 2nd leading rusher in conference history should TOTALLY be behind something called Benny Snell. Who the frick is that?

I was pissed when I looked at S and did not see Watts. He has earned a spot. Then I ctrl+f for A&M there he is, listed as a CB. Weird, but I will take it.

Kirk pulls in more All SECs. Kid racks up multiple every year.

Why? He had a terrible year.

The all-SEC team is not a career achievement award. Snell had a bigger workload, and with my bias I think Chubb should have been 1st team, but it should be based on this season, not his career.

Punter should be JK Scott and Logan Cooke.

The fact that Key is first team proves this list is BS

Alabama has 3 on the OL?

Idk bout that..

Bama bump.

How did Mizzou not get any OL on either team. As a unit they allowed the fewest TFL by a wide margin and were second in fewest sacks allowed (by 1 while throwing the ball 60 more times)

Crazy

How is it that Watts, who is a safety, is put in at corner while Fitzpatrick, a corner, is put in at safety?

Reputation only. His numbers were average at best this year due to Sumlin's insistence on putting Mond at quarterback much of the season.

It is probably a case of Chubb and Sony splitting votes against one another.

Obviously the CFP don't think so. Enjoy watching us on New Years.
And to be fair, most Bama fans don't think there are three All-SEC first team OL for us.

Bama gets 3 from an underperforming oline 1st team but the unquestionably best punter in the nation 4 years running is 2nd team SEC? Stupid.

2 DL from State. Both are back for 2018 and add Chauncey Rivers. State is stacked on the DL for 2018
