In an era where spread offenses are almost becoming the norm, I like that Jimbo runs a pro style, it will be interesting to watch. I still think an well-run pro style offense is probably the most satisfying things to witness as a spectator.

I pretty much agree that Texas A&M is one of the programs that can win a lot with the right coach and compete for SEC titles, which is why I think getting Jimbo was a good move. Sure it cost a lot of money but it was always going to take a lot of money to lure him out of Tallahassee. And it seems like A&M can afford it anyhow. Its a bit of a risk for sure but the potential rewards are high.

The only thing that makes it less of a sure thing is that A&M is in the toughest division in college fb. Even with the right coach, in the SEC west there still might be years where you go 9-3 or even 8-4. But I think the ceiling is pretty high with Jimbo.

You are so triggered. You have elevated yourself into a7m Hof. It took texag7 and oldsarge months to reach that elite honor that you have effortlessly done in a days time

Why would it not be? Northgate has like 25 bars. Houston is 1 hour away.

Every college town has bars. There is just nothing charming about CS. Very corporate feel with no culture other than the gay stuff

Several million people live in greater Cleveland but I wouldn't call that a great place to live either.

if you don't mind the winters, Cleveland is a great place to live. maybe you are watching old movies. Cleveland has gone through a metamorphosis and is actually very nice. a better place to live than Houston in a lot of aspects. the old blue collar rust belt image is gone and has been for awhile.

Not even The Bear could win a NC there. A&M has had windows to shine: 90’s with competing programs were down; joining the SEC... their fans have talked so much just to see their soft program fold like cheap chairs over and over again.

Football is a violent sport. A school with a gay culture is not the place to win anything of note in that game. Stick to transgender sports.

Troll

90-95 A&M went 34-1 at home. And only 5 or something home losses the entire decade.

We can be tough again.

Don't forget you lucked into a national championship game already having 2 losses. Not everyone is that lucky.

A&M is soft. Chavis is a good Coach that fielded nasty teams at LSU and Tennessee.

Couldn’t do it at A&M. No one can. Soft culture and 3rd or 4th fiddle program in its own state.

LSU is in its second coach no one else wanta, has an awful AD. Still a easily dominating Aggie. Sooner than later LSU is going to get its shite together. Think about that.

Last year, I personally preferred JF over O for LSU. However and for some reason, I don't think he'll be a huge success for you guys...

Just my perception and time will tell.

I agree.

Fisher is a good coach. So is Sumlin. So is Chavis.

If’s not a troll. Is reality.

Chavis is a good coach. Was given total control and couldn’t establish a good D there despite above avg talent. That’s a fact.

Sumlin is an average coach incapable of winning any conference.

If you keep saying stuff like this to make yourself feel better, you may actually start believing it. There's one problem though, LSU is the top dog in louisiana and always has and will be, texas am is the 2nd program in texas and always has and will be. Jimbo couldn't resist bringing up his time and success at LSU during his am opening presser lol. He will find out soon enough that texas am isnt lsu.
