Been there 3 times and noise is pitiful. Ole Piss and State make way more noise with half the capacity.

Nothing is more intimidating than men waving pompoms and the sound of elephants fricking

Auburn too low.

Call me a homer, but you’re right. I’ve been to almost every SEC venue and Tiger Stadium and Jordan-Hare are without a doubt the two loudest when they get rocking.

2005. I was a junior in HS and I think it was a pretty big game. Both were ranked IIRC

When you sit on the 50 yard line at Bama. The seats are so far from the field it is like you are sitting in the next county.

Is that the same LSU stadium that the broadcasters of the LSU-AU game kept trying to convince the world that it was deafening when the cameras clearly showed the stadium was half empty in the third quarter?

I've never been, but I'm not buying Michigan at #51.

I have and while it's louder than #51, it's not as loud as you'd think. The stadium's design kind of prevents that. It's so damn wide that it's hard to trap any of the noise in there. If you're sitting in the middle of the stadium, you're still a long, long way from the field of play.

Just perusing this list, I want to make fun of UGA for being down with UCF but then I noticed they have GT ranked ahead of Michigan. I have never been to a game at Michigan but no way they make less noise than GT.

Mississippi State is the loudest stadium in the country in north end zone. Any other parts it's probably around 14 and yes I have been to LSU. They definitely deserve number 1 and Bryant Denny feels weird. It felt like going to service at a traditional church.the only passion came from kids cheering when it was over cause they were hungry.
