There are some stupid people in this world.

Did you not read the above post which shows that more than half of Alabamas students arent in state?

A bama fan literally posted a stat that proved me right lol. Id be willing to bet that Ole Miss is in a similar position of more out of state than in state students, but idk that for sure.

Last year Tennessee lost to Arkansas, barely escaped Alabama with a RB playing QB, then proceeded to get fricking trucked by Georgia and Ohio State.

All while paying $8 million to a guy who left for UCLA.

Not looking good.

It’s Kalen DeBoer, the guy has a track record of losing games to unranked teams when his team is favored heavily, he’s gonna lose 1-2 at least in this conference this season if he doesn’t get upset Week 1, this league’s too damn hard

Apart from last season, what is this track record you speak of?

His team went undefeated in the 2023 regular season.

The only game they lost, the CFP National Championship Game, they were a 4.5 point underdog.

He only has 13 losses as a head coach at the FBS level. In those 13 losses:

Ten of the losses came against unranked teams.
Ten came when his team was favored.
Five of those were as a double-digit favorite.

I agree at UGA and at USC will both be difficult games. I believe the Auburn game is at Auburn too. I expect them to be better than people realize. Tennessee won’t come to Tuscaloosa and win. Lost too much in the draft and the QB. LSU game might be difficult, but how much improvement will that defense make and how good will the O-line be with the new starters there? My guess, not good enough. I say Bama loses 2 games out of the 3 road games I listed. I’ll say UGA and USC will be the 2

So you don’t know what ‘none’ means?

No bandwagon fan here. Sad commentary from a vol whose last glory was 1998. Oh yea, was pulling for you vol fan against the Buckeyes but your team stunk it up good.

NO need to worry about true Bama fans. Our only worry is where we’re going to hang our next natty hat. The hat rack is already full.

Don't be a disingenuous frick.

How many of those games were in his first year as a head.coach in the conference at question?

You’re making my point, you really think it’ll magically drop to 0-1 losses this season?

Right!

You just suddenly appeared on a SEC site when Bama started winning again.

Gemini, as the name implies, I’m an old fart. I watched Joe Namath play at Bama. Seen many championships in my many years. Also, seen many lean years. What a true non bandwagon bama fan knows is our fanbase is second to none. We demand and expect Nattys. You don’t mention what school you root for. I hope whoever that is can enjoy as many National Championship games as I have been too.

You must not have exposure to other fanbases then

That’s literally 10 other programs in the country on a constant basis, not Texas A&M of course

Of course other programs want nattys and I have many Auburn, Georgia, Florida friends who have won Nattys. However, in my lifetime I’ve seen seen another program rise to the top, fall off then rise again as many times as Bama. Tell me another program in last 60 years like Bama. You can’t. That’s why we are considered cocky and arrogant by others.

Bama is going to be an champion again. Just get ready.
