It’s comical really.
What's comical is some clown from a different conference hanging around another conference's forums and interjecting themselves into a board that they have no business in. Folks like yourself are an embarrassment to your team and your conference. You obviously are a klutz and are shunned by your peers, but don't force yourself on folks who neither are interested nor care about you. Do us all a solid, and run along.

I think they will. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that Saban coaches another five years at Alabama and wins at least one more, maybe two before he rides off into the sunset

I regret that it's in a troll thread, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Saban hung it up after another national title. I'd think it would get frustrating replacing assistants so often, and having to train them how to train your players. And yes, I do think it's some his fault for so many assistants leaving. Not so much because of his occasional tirades, but the work schedule he demands. Anyway, if he wins it all next season, I would not be surprised if he retires. On the other hand, I won't be surprised if he coaches another 5 years, as you say.

JMO but Nick will do 4 more years if he and Terry have great health. Hopefully the people that matter at the U of A will call Dabo home. Even if that were to happen you will never see years like Nick's had at Bama even.

You are very wrong. I'm guessing you haven't heard how really mad they are.

Not bold at all. Dabo broke Saban.

I guess he'll just have to settle with the SEC being his bitch instead of all of Div 1.

I know you're mocking the goofy op, but after the unprecedented dynasty Saban has produced at Alabama, I could live with just dominating the SEC the last few years.

I'm sure everyone will bookmark this bold prediction and remember to revisit it in 11.5 months after they trounce Clemson and right the wrong.

Or maybe everyone will just go on living their lives. Tough call.

His coordinators pretty often get head jobs, so I'm sure he was glad for Locksley to get that, but wouldn't wish to see him go otherwise. I think he'd also like to have kept Gattis, Key and Enos. IMO he should have offered Enos the job as O.C. and he might not have left, in spite of the fact he specifically noted balancing family life with his job as one reason he accepted the Miami job. In other words, he wasn't wild about the work schedule.

As for the defensive coaches, yeah, I believe he thinks we can do better.

Ouch. This is the reason Continue to post. If you’re triggered by a logo or opposing fan having an opinion, you probably shouldn’t be a sports fan in the first place. Be my guest and learn to lose.

Maybe. But I think Saban might be losing his edge on talent recognition. And you can't always trust the ranks.

Recruit improve in rank when they get an offer from a big time program - especially Alabama. Again, when they actually sign with a big program.

It becomes self fulfilling.

I’m taking a futures bet that they win the NC for the upcoming season.

As an LSU fan I don’t like to see Bama win, but I know Saban has extra motivation this year.

If they lose, I’m happy. If they win I get paid.

Saban might never win another national title, but winning 5 national titles in 9 years, including the previous year, the only team to participate in the playoffs every year, and winning the SEC title this year, is a pretty good indication he can still judge recruits pretty well.

edit: Saban's biggest problem this year, if you can call it a problem, was maybe over reacting to UGA recruiting better in 2017, and overhauled his coaching staff with relatively young coaches that were great recruiters but not as experienced as previous staffs. The defense, in particular, suffered for it. It was arguably the worst defense of the Saban era, or at least since the first year. Injuries at linebacker and the secondary didn't help but most teams have to deal with injuries.

if saban doesn't win another one at bama, he'll be remembered for losing 2 out of 3 against Clemson in the natty and getting blown out in the last one by Clemson.

given Clemson is not a blueblood and it has little money, this especially hurts sabana's legacy.
