Yea I assume they didn't want to suspend Miller at the time because he wasn't getting charged and didn't want him people asking about his involvement

Backfired bigly. These facts were always gonna come out

No he probably won't play tonigt, but I gurantee you he'll play against arky saturday, now that arky is nearly healthy again. Nate Oatmeal knows Arky would frick them up without Miller. Plus all the cock sucking NBA scouts want to see Nick Smith vs Miller. fricking pathetic shite.

I don't even know how Nate Oats coaches tonight. Just out of pure idiocy. He was aware that Miller brought the weapon to literally murder a young mom and he has the audacity to look people in the eye and say "wrong place wrong time".

Everything about this situation is just so sad. Some things are bigger than sports and winning does not trump a human's life. Total failure by Alabama from top to bottom.

I have to think the decision to keep Miller on the roster went a lot higher than Nate. Given the situation, I find it hard to believe the AD and university president weren’t in the loop on that decision.

This. Miller plays, unless Nate Oats has any shred of integrity. Yeah, Miller plays.

That's my point. He knew and he still played him. If this kid was a walk on he would be off the team in a heartbeat.

Auburn fans cares more about Miller being suspended than justice for this poor girl’s death. Let’s be honest.

He will certainly play. Oats defended him as recently as yesterday. To not play him would be seen as a capitulation to the external pressure now being placed on the program. Miller will play unless the UA administration forces Oat’s hand.

The Administration has screwed this up entirely. As an alum with 2 kids currently at UA, it's sickening the way they've handled this. As it currently stands though, they won't try to walk this back now, I firmly believe it'll be business as usual at 8:00pm tonight although I will not ruin my night by watching this game.

Oats will probably name him team captain before tipoff. "Sportsmanship Award" for returning "someone's property."

You really have to wonder how they could reasonably have expected Miller’s involvement not to come out. Really poor choice.

The game is @SC. If he plays, I can’t imagine boo’s and chants when that POS touches the ball.

Bama fans prefer to use this dead girl’s body as a shield to deflect criticism from its program and/or a foot stool upon which to step as they ascend onto their high horse.

They don't need him tonight but it's bammer so he will play every game the rest of the year. Oates will coach him up on his mistake of being at the wrong place at the wrong time over ice cream.

The Administration knew every detail, they were informed and they made the decision to keep BM eligible. The UA PR team failed because they've literally had weeks to prepare statements for Oats/Bryne and had every opportunity to prep for the media backlash this news was going to unleash. It is system wide administrative failure.

You do realize the team has played as well, and actually most of the time better, when he was on the bench. Obviously probably not the case with him out for an entire game, but that note is statistically true during individual games he's been sitting.
