LSU’s defense has looked good against mediocre at best offenses.

Everyone knows Arkansas secretly has the best defense in the country then Tulane is easily top 10 defense. Y’all saw what we did to them. LSU defense fuuuucked

Alter or new? but as to provide something meaningful, I think Bama-dawgs will be way closer then everyone is saying, because it could be the difference between a fired Deboer and a 'hanging by a thread' Deboer

This is Bamas super bowl, and I'd be surprised if they get blown out

Offenses. LSU's defense has looked good against mediocre at best offenses. And you're right. I don't think we hold Ole Miss under 17. I'm expecting a 27-24, 24-21 type game.

This is a make or break game for Ole Miss.

They took care of business in their first third of the season. The final third of their season is home vs Cocks, Citadel and Gators with only road game being at State. They’ll be decent to heavy favorites in all these games.

If they can maneuver their next 4 games in middle third of their season with only 1 loss they’ll be pretty much a shoe in for a playoff berth. The only game ESPN analytics has them losing is @Georgia

#4 LSU
BYE
Wazzou
@#5 Georgia
@#7 Oklahoma (possibly without Mateer)

Would be fitting to ruin their hopes this weekend

Ole Miss has struggled with bad teams. LSU struggled with bad teams. Bama got dog walked by a team that won two games last year and looked worse against Wisconsin than Maryland did. Georgia beat Tennessee who is probably good.

We don’t know a lot yet. Only Vandy has a decisive conference win.

Are we sure South Carolina is really any better than Florida?

Florida at least has an elite defense. SC has a porous OL and an awful defense. Florida will be in game because their D can keep them in it if they don't just fall apart morale wise. SC is going to take some whippings.

How many conference games are won by more than 2 touchdowns? I think most conference games are competitive into the 4th quarter.

For example, State is probably a bottom 1/3 of the conference team and they are less than a TD dog to a top of the 1/3 league team.

This is the era of parity.

We'll be lucky to score 3 points. According to everyone in the media, the LSU defense is on level with the '85 Bears.

The winner of both games makes the playoffs. The losers do not.

Given LSU's offense, 3 may be enough.
