Yeah. We’re returning that defense, which was mostly freshman, and we’re getting back 4 starters from injury (Moses, McMillon, Ray, Dale). Mac has already shown he is a good QB so we’re good there and we’re returning our whole OL (minus Wills) and Najee and Trey Sanders

We have two WRs coming back that are potentially as good or better than the two that we lost.

lol this is a reach.

Alabama. 11 TDs to 3 INT is very good

Mac Jones had a 186.84 QB Rating. That would have ranked 4th nationally if qualified. And most of his numbers came against Auburn and Michigan.

I think it's fair to assume he's a legitimate above average SEC QB.

It’s not a reach. Smith was our leading receiver last year and honestly he’s better than Ruggs. Waddle has the most potential out of the 4, he could easily explode and have a Chase type season

an above average veteran QB or a hot shot true freshman.

Mac Jones throws so damn many TD's he don't even care who they're to.

implementing a new system

Is it easier to implement a spread offense than a pro-style? Which one can get up, running and productive the fastest?

When he passed for 11 TDs and 3 INT in 4 starts, including a 300 yard 3 TD performance against Michigan

I love all this analysis! Should be useful in September!

Potential means nothing. I doubt he "easily" has a Chase type season.

We're going to be really good on offense. Any suggestion otherwise is silly.

What will determine our season is how much of a step forward our defense makes.

No, Alabama's new starters will be good while UGA's will struggle. That's the logic here.

Alabama is returning most of the defense plus two that were injured all of 2019.

Alabama returns 4 OL starters plus 4 other starters from the bowl game.

There’s a lot coming back.

UGA has two weeks to figure that out before going to Tuscaloosa, with a new QB, new RB, largely unproven WRs and a entirely new offensive line.

Like I said, good luck.

Bama will most likely be good on offense, but it will be a step back from 2019 with Tua. That's the point people are making.

I hope Blaylock will be back in form by that game. I am curious about the new receivers. Does the new OC get them productive faster than they would be if it was an old style pro-set? I imagine that like LSU, the WRs have a set clock in their route, then break for an open area and assume the QB is scrambling and buying time.

I am excited about this next season. I am cautiously optimistic about the Bama game. I think we have a shot.
