I love it.

Just dudes.
Best ppg offense and defense in conference play
Ypp differential

Nothing special.
UGA goes into the seccg with a coaching advantage.

I don't even think we can be compared at the end of the playoffs and SECCG. (Assuming we make the playoffs)

Every year is different. you just can't fully and accurately compare one team to another from different years or eras. The best you can do is compare against teams from the same year.

Agreed. It’s impossible to accurately compare. But it’s even more irrelevant to compare when the season isn’t even complete yet. I mean 2016 Bama had a real argument as one of the most impressive teams of all time and then lost to Clemson, and didn’t just lose, they gave up 500+ yards and 30+ points so all this shite talking is premature.

You think UGA is going to have 5 or 6 1st Rd picks ? A Heisman winner, Biletnikoff, Doak Walker, Outland trophy, Maxwell, Davy O'Brien, Rimmington, SEC offensive player of the year and SEC defensive player of the year

Those other 2 teams were 2 of the most decorated, award winning teams of all-time. UGA doesn't have the star power to measure up.

Just because you can't formulate an actual worthy disagreement doesn't make it a troll.

Which is why it’s ridiculous that some have said 2021 UGA could never be compared to 2020 Bama and 2019 LSU. People act like our offense is just average.

You started the season with a 7 point win over Clemson.

That's how long it took Georgia to be out of the "GOAT" conversation.

Sorry, good luck again in 4 decades.

I get that. We are rivals and it is to be expected. (It does seem a BIT harsh, though )

I can objectively say this is one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen. Carter, Davis, Dean, and Tindall are all 1st rounders. Kendrick, Smith, Walker, Anderson and Cine are probably all 2nd rounders. If he’s not trolling he is just an idiot lol.

Given your feelings towards Georgia I would say this is objective and fair.

Given that star power isn’t a measurable metric it’s a pretty stupid argument and given your point of lack of players being drafted when the 2022 draft hasn’t occurred yet - yes it is an idiotic post. You don’t know how many players they will have drafted which is the hill your currently dying on. I’d look at actual important stats like; margin of victory, points allowed per game, yards per play allowed, and time trailing opponents when I look at how good a team actually is. UGA is putting up the same and better numbers in those categories than the previous mentioned teams. That also doesn’t prove they are the better team, it just proves you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about comparing them to TCU lol. Go take a lap.

He didn't say any of that. But he did say you are full of crap for thinking our defense is Nakobe Dean, an irrelevant DT and a bunch of bit players.

Maybe you should read your post again then reread his post and see what he is objecting to? Maybe.

Bama finished last season with a 6 point win over 4 loss Florida last year. Not even 12 months ago.

Out of the starting 11 on defense, I think the following players will be first round picks when eligible barring an injury or off field issues:

Jalen Carter
Jordan Davis
Travon Walker
Nakobe Dean
Lewis Cine
Kelee Ringo

Adam Anderson was a first round lock until the allegations came out. We'll see what happens there.

You seem to think this defense is full of talentless try hards who execute a scheme well. This defense is loaded with NFL players. Jalen Carter, in particular, is a name I would expect Alabama fans to remember after this weekend.

And that is why Alabama is also not the GOAT. We had a chance, but the SECCG you mention ended it.

The GOAT is 1995 Nebraska, their closest game was 14 points, and they finished the season beating #2 Florida(who was undefeated and killed everyone they faced that year as well) 62-24.

To be the GOAT you have to be elite on both sides of the ball, and the stat that shows that is MoV.

Absolutely and point well taken!

I guess we should both be getting very, very nervous. A Georgia fan agreeing with a Gator fan , and a Gator fan agreeing with a Georgia fan.

ETA
Oh. And for the record....I don't think we are in the conversation of GOAT even if we shut out everybody in the SECCG and playoffs. 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama teams were off the charts.

Anything with "(ST)" next to it has garbage time removed - so Defensive Points Allowed and Availabile Yards. You can definitely tell in UGAs defensive point figures (which are batshit insane).

I didn't use the garbage removed for offensive pts and the regular stats (yds, YPA) are just normal, full games.

I don't know. I agree we are not in the conversation for GOAT.

2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama are, imo.

But as I said earlier, it's impossible to say for certain because of different years, opponents and eras.

Meant Davis. He's irrelevant now because most of the SEC has abandoned running between the tackles.
