Michigan beat Ohio State and Alabama played Michigan better than Ohio State therefore we are the best team in the country right now and the Rose bowl is proving it.

Alabama should be mailed the trophy every year no matter their record, head coach, ranking, or bowl outcome. They're bama. They're entitled to it each and every year by dammit!

No Bama is no playoff team this year. The problem we have is that most of the teams in the playoff are not really playoff caliber teams either.
The 12 team playoff will end up being a big bust because most years we will get more blowouts than great games. This whole format will need to have some major tweaks going forward or the 12 team playoff system will be a huge bust.
