I'm guessing none of the Big 10 teams deserved to be in the playoffs since TCU beat the big 10 champ? And the big 10 champ beat the #4 seed by 3 touchdowns. I guess we should have had an all SEC playoff

Even as an Alabama fan, I don't think we should have.
I think we could have given Georgia a better game (though doubt we would have won), but that's neither here nor there.
All we had to do was beat LSU or Tennessee and MAYBE we're in (though a loss in the SECCG probably bumps TCU back in anyway). I think for Alabama and Georgia to both be in would have required both to be undefeated going into the SECCG. We didn't, so we didn't get in, and that's that.
Most of the "Alabama should have been in" is just the "dear GOD that championship game was terrible" crowd wishing the end product had been as good as the semifinal games.

Start the 12 team playoff next year and this whole debate goes away and it gets settled on the field. Simple as that.

Bucki, are you still crying about the non-targeting call? Reading on eleven warriors that still seems to be a crying staple over there.
According to Ohio State fans if a call goes against them, it is a bad call, the referees have been bought off and it is all a conspiracy to keep Ohio St down.
That fanbase has limited knowledge of the NCAA rules governing the play of college football. Overall I would say a rather dumb-arse fanbase.

By that logic, OSU had no business in the CFP. Got blown out by the team that got blown out by TCU.
