Alabama should have been taken over TCU

While I understand the reason the CFP committee made their choices, Alabama would have beaten TCU. They destroyed Kansas State who beat TCU. Georgia would not have hung 65 on them. Georgia lucked out.

The point is not whether Alabama deserved to be in the playoff or not. The point is TCU didn’t

The only luck from Georgia was when Harrison got hurt and when OSU’s kicker shanked the winning field goal.

The bright side is these arguments are going away soon enough.
I was hesitant about the playoffs, but if we get to see more GA/OSU and TCU/Michigan games I will enjoy the hell out of it.
It may not change the final outcome, but those were some of the best playoff games to date.

True but my thought is taking the 4 best teams and of the non-playoff teams, who was better than Alabama?

Remember when you said TCU would boat race Georgia?

I am pretty sure Tennessee would not have done much better after losing Hooker.
Alabama in my opinion now that the season is over probably was the best team to of been in it.

Who deserved it over them? They beat the #2 team in the country. Has a 2 loss non-conference champion ever made the playoffs?

This whole thing is silly. All it would change is the name of the team losing to Georgia.
Clearly, the best team won it all this year.
I think this is just some salty fans trying to imply there was a better team than Ga and that is simply false.

Yeah these Cinderella teams have no business being in the playoffs. Cincinatti and TCU got destroyed.

Bottom line
Bama can play what if for the next 50 years, it won't change anything
TCU had a very bad game at the worst possible time
I'm not discrediting what they did all season

Alabama fatigue.
Soon to be followed by UGA and OSU fatigue.
At least Clempson is taking care of Clempson fatigue on their own...

A healthy Tennessee would be a great choice. Fun to watch and had a lot of spirit. I was very impressed with UT.

The notion that the fourth-place overall team from the SEC should have made the playoffs is absurd. The correct four teams were chosen, and Georgia won the title fair and square.

This dumb arse who thought TCU would beat uga is advocating for back to back Michigan losses.

That is EXACTLY what this was

I'm not saying Alabama is better than Georgia. I'm saying they would beat TCU, the same as they did Kansas St. Neither KSU nor TCU met a team as good as Alabama, Georgia, LSU, or Tennessee all season until they did and we saw the results.

This whole argument is stupid. The season is over. If bama wouldn't have beaten UGA (which they wouldn't), it doesn't matter. If bama wanted the chance, don't shite the bed twice against inferior teams, and play like shite most of the season.
Bama sucked this year. Not as bad as 2019 but bad. Just have to try again next year.
